"Hey," he said. "Hop in."
"Really nice," she said. "Your dad's new ride?"
"Nah, I stole it."
"That's not even funny." She adjusted the seat belt, planted a kiss on his cheek, and checked her reflection in the mirror. "The truth," she said.
He floored the gas pedal. The tires squealed in protest, trying to gain traction.
"I told you, I stole it."
