Settling down

Charlotte's POV
Once I enter the hallway, every body was looking at me like I had grown two heads:some gave me disgusted looks,while some looked at me in awe,some people glared at me but I don't care. I didn't know the way to the school's secretary's​office,I was about to give up finding it when a girl tapped my shoulder,she was not too tall or short,she was brunette like me, slender, beautiful and cute with a nerdy glasses. She wore sweatpants and a blouse making me wonder "who the hell wears sweatpants to school". I smiled at her and she smiled back,she introduced herself as Sophie rose,I also told her name which I told her she can call me char and she offered to take me to get my schedule and locker code. I let her cause I like her already. On our way to the office,she started talking to me and we exchanged numbers. I collected my schedule and locker code from the secretary who looked at me with a big smile making me think she was being nasty but soph told me quietly that's​how she smiles at everyone. I nodded and thanked her giving her a quick smile. I left the office with soph,she asked to check my schedule,we then realized we have all the classes together. I was really happy because I wasn't going to be lonely and feeling out of place. We left and went to class,as we entered,all the students turned and looked at me weirdly,I was embarrassed but Sophie helped me to the seat at the back, minutes later,the teacher entered,I groaned along with majority of the people in the class seeing we had calculus and I hated that.
30 minutes into the class,the door opened.
