You belong to you.

You woke up in a cold sweat, throwing the gray blanket off of you. Seeing the moonlight shining through the window, you slowly got up. In the other bed, your brother, Asriel, let out light snores that signaled he was fast asleep. Tiptoeing to the center of the room, you gazed into the birdcage and wagon below your bed. The same nightmare for three weeks. The one where you would wake up at exactly this time, stomp to the center of your bedroom, and ferociously tear out your bloodied, beating soul, and throw it into that birdcage.

"Happy thoughts..." You whispered. Memories of the Darkner World flooded through your head, from Lancer's first appearance, to Ralsei and his training dummy, to the battle against King Spade, and then the moment you appeared in the unused classroom at school.

Asriel snored again, causing you to chuckle. The phone on your nightstand buzzed as you approached your bed.
"What would she want at this hour?"
Answering the call, a familiar voice spoke, and your heart began to beat faster.
"Hey (Y/N). I know it's late, but...well...can you meet me over by the school?"

"The school? Why do you want me to-"

"Look, just get your ass over here, okay! And be quick..."
And then she hung up.
Asriel snored again, and began speaking in his sleep. "....hold X to run, and C to open the menu..."

"Huh. X to run? Must be having a fun dream." You chuckle. "It's not like this is a video game world."

"Susie?" You called, stepping onto the school grounds. "You there?"
No response.
"Susie?-"

"BWAH!!"

"JESUS!"

The purple monster held her head in her hands, laughing hysterically. "Oh (Y/N), you should have seen your face!"

"..."

As the two of you walked along the streets of hometown, both of you were silent. You could feel the tension in the air as you attempted to keep up with your companion. "Susie, where are we going?"

"Secret."

"Uh....okay?"

"You'll see."

A few moments later you finally stopped in front of a rundown old house, the bright green paint fading and peeling. Nervously, you asked; "Let me guess. Your home?"

"Yeah. And it was beautiful." Susie replied, opening the dark brown door. The two of you entered, and the stench of alchohol hit you like a ton of bricks. A tall purple monster stumbled in from the kitchen. He held an empty bottle of scotch in his hands, and wore ripped jean pants. Green spots lined his back, with one large one on his belly. "Susie...*hic*...whereavya been?"

"I went to pick up a friend, dad. This is (Y/N)."

The drunken dinosaur smiled, before hugging the two of you.
"Oh, my sweet daughter finally brought a friend home. Oh you know how important having friends is after all!" And with that, he stumbled back into the kitchen. Susie quickly grasped your hand, rushing you upstairs.
"Sorry. He's been like that ever since...uh..."

"It's okay. So what's up?"

She pushed you into her room, locking the door behind her.
"I've been....thinking a lot lately...
And I know you can relate to it in a sense."
The purple monster gave you a soft look, one that few people have ever seen before. "I...I miss my mom. My dad hasn't been the same since she passed. He started drinking, then his show got cancelled..." She threw her arms around you, her head atop your own. "I want my old life back,
(Y/N)..."
You wrapped your arms around her, your hair now soaking from the tears she failed to hold back.
"Susie...I may still have dad, and mom, but it isn't the same. I know how much it hurts, I do...
But you'll always have me."

Her hug tightened, and you swore your eyes began to bulge.
She sniffled, before murming something under her breath.
Then she let you go. You finally got a good look around her room. The cutesy pink wallpaper was peeled back in spots, revealing the wooden walls beneath. The stained matress beside a broken silver bedframe was torn, springs poking out of the fabric. "Thank you, (Y/N). I really mean it. Uh..."

"What?"

"I...uh...I-"

Susie took hold of you again, whispering into your ear a sentence that made your heart leap. "I love you."

Your eyed widened, and you hugged back. Your right hand reached to her hair, stroking it.
You had to make a choice. Admittedly, you had developed feelings for Susie. At the same time, were you ready for something like this.

"You were the only person who was ever willing to be my friend. Over these past three weeks, our friendship has been so amazing, and I just feel like....well, I....I love you."

You took a deep breath.
"I love you too."

A blush rushed across both of your faces. The two of you seperated, looking into each other's eyes. Slowly, your lips got closer, as you, once again, closed your eyes. Your lips connected, if only for a second or two.

"(Y/N), wake up! You need to get home!"

Your eyes shot open as you heard this, and you quickly shot up, abruptly waking Susie. Asriel fell backwards, laughing all the while. "Oh god, you should have seen your face! That was to much!"

Susie growled, glaring at your brother. "What the hell man?"

Asriel got up, wiping his pajamas off. "I didn't know my little bro was bringing girls home now. Heya Susie!"

"Fuck you Azy."

You chuckled, snuggling closer to the girl. The two of you layed back down as Asriel left the room. Mere seconds later, he poked his head back in, smiling at Susie. "Mom made you some breakfast, Sooz."

Your girlfriend sprung up, sprinting out the door.

"And uh...(Y/N), Mom would like to have a word with you."

"Oh god no."

A few moments later you finally stopped in front of a rundown old house, the bright green paint fading and peeling. Nervously, you asked; "Let me guess. Your home?"

"It was. And it was beautiful." Susie replied, snapping the Infinity Gauntlet. The broken home had been replaced by a beautiful green home. A purple dinosaur stood outside, singing.
"I love you, you love me! We're a happy family-"

"What the hell is this?"

Susie grunted.
"My home was like most, to many mouths to feed, not enough to go around."

Susie took hold of you again, whispering into your ear a sentence that made your heart jump leap. "Lemme smash."

A/N: Wow. It's finally, FINALLY out. I'd honestly say this is my best oneshot yet. This was made for Len-Tex, a really awesome dude. I hope this is up to your standards, and I'd also like to apologize for how long this took to make. This was gonna be longer, but I couldn't think of much more plot to put in.
