Until When?

"Your love is like a sun that lights up my whole world, I feel the warmth inside..." I closed my eyes while singing. I'm in front of these so many people performing what I love to do. Singing.

"Your love is like a river that flows down through my veins I feel the chill inside.." As soon as I opened my eyes, I see them quietly listen to my voice. Walang halong kaba akong nagperform. Ang tangin nasa isip ko lang ay ang mukha niyang nakangiti, how I wish I could be the reason of his smile.

"Every time I hear our music plays, reminds me of the things that we've been through.." Those times when I knew that I have fallen. I keep on falling over and over with all the memories that we have.

All those smiles, all those jokes, all those misunderstanding. It all have value for me.

"In my mind, I can't believe it's true but in my heart the reality is you.." You may not be mine, but I want you to know that you've stole my heart. The reality is the fact that I like you, want you and love you.

"I am all alone without you.." You may not know, but I'm longing for you. Kelan ba darating yung araw na hindi na ako mag iisa dahil nandiyan ka na?

Kelan ba darating yung panahon na sasabihin mo sakin na hindi mo ako iiwan at hindi na ako mag iisa kailan man.

"My days are dark without a glimpes of you.." Everyday, gusto ko kausap kita. Gusto ko kasama kita. Gusto ko lagi ka lang nandiyan. Parang ang laki ng kulang ko kapag wala ka.

"And now you came into my life I feel complete. The flowers bloom the morning shines and I can see.." How did you find me? Where? Why? Whenever you're there I feel complete. But.. Even though you came, I'm still empty knowing that you're not mine.

I can see you.. having such a beautiful smile that warms my heart. But I knew, that smile wasn't because of me. I can see you laugh.. how I wish you could laugh when you're with me. I can see you having such wonderful time with others, but you also treat me like the others.

"I feel the warmth inside.." I stared at you as I finish the song. 

It's my night. Para akong isang bituin na itinitingala ng mga taong nakapaligid sakin. I am the winner of every singing contest na sinasalihan ko.

Noon, ang dahilan ko kaya sumasali ako sa mga singing contest ay para sa fame. I want everyone to love me. Pero ngayon, I want to dedicate my voice to the one and only person that I'm dreaming of. 

This time it's not a contest, hindi na 'to paligsahan kundi isang kasiyahan. Kaarawan ng mga puso, at dahil kilala ako sa bawat baranggay ng aming bayan ay imbitado ako sa isang salu-salo para sa lahat.

Bumaba ako ng stage. I smiled at my friends like nothing happened. Ganito ako lagi, I only express myself through songs that I'm singing. Napatingin ako sakaniya. He's my friend.. at hanggang friend lang iyon.

Naalala ko pa yung mga panahong nagtapat na ako ng nararamdaman ko para sakaniya.

"Justine, may sasabihin sana ako, okay lang ba?" tumingin siya sakin at agad na sumagot

"Oo naman, ano ba yon? Importante ba?" kabado ngunit determinado na ako sa kung ano man ang sasabihin ko.

"Alam mo naman yung nararamdaman ni Sophia para kay Johann 'di ba?" Napabuntong hininga ako sa paraan kung paano ko sinumulan ang bagay na alam kong maaari kong pagsisihan pagdating ng panahon.

"Oo, bakit?" Napabuntong hininga ulit ako bago kumuha ng lakas ng loob, gusto kong tulungan ang kaibigan ko pero gusto ko ring tulungan ang sarili ko.
