Over the time that Peter Parker has know tony, he'd learnt a lot about him that the public did know so well.
Thing like how he gets really sleepy and snuggles up to whoever is closest when he doesn't get coffee. Or how he can pull of high heels, makeup and a full on drag getup extremely well.
And that he likes to buy his way into others hearts.

Peter first experienced this after coming to the compound after school on an avenger day, did the usually with Mr. Stark and ended up having a chat with him about the cancellation of his favorite show.

as Peter was packing up, making sure to be back in time for aunt mays strict curfew, his newest model stark phone buzzed with a text from Ned. Here the thing. Peter always gets texts from Ned. They could be anything from the most important news to seeing a small dog on the street across the road, and Ned managed to send it to him. This time it was important. Like life changing important.
" holy shit Brooklyn nine-nine was cancelled" he read allowed, not even talking to anyone.
" huh, kid?" Tony mumbled from across the lab, slightly out of it due to his lack of coffee that day.
"Uh- oh its my favourite tv show. It's called Brooklyn nine-nine. It just got canceled. Which kinda sucks."
Peters back was turned, and if he had not been so focused on texting Ned a picture of tony crying that he had started using as a reaction picture, he would have noticed the exact man in that picture raising his eyebrows and writing down the name of the show.

That future reference proved to be used the next day when a tweet went out saying that the show was back on, after receiving a sponsor from the one and only tony stark.

Ned was the first of the three friends to see the tweet. even MJ was excited, her deep and never ending love for Amy and Rosa proving to be something that the whole group could bond over.
" Peter, peter dUDE what did you do."
Halfway through his mouthful of terrible canteen food Peter also got the notification. " what the f u ck" he managed to say.

Tony didn't get to say hi to the kid before he was pushed back by a big that he didn't even want to stop.
" kid? Super strength is starting to kill this old man."
Peter quickly backed away, a smile covering his face.
" you actually cared about the show."

And that's how tony started getting those hugs and smiles in the best way he could,
