Medusa POV (before her curse)

I was pushed before i could turn to the man who screamed at the child before me. When i tried to stand up I heard the most horrifying scream coming from the child.

i bolted up right and shoved the bastardos aside and saw the most blood curduling sight. this sad excuse of a man had carved out this child's eyes right out of his head.

"Guards come quick! I need help now!!" no sooner have i said those those words 3 guards appeared and saw the gruesome sight. "what is the meaning of this parafrosyni!?" said the guard. "this teras has carved out this childs eyes out!!" i screamed at the guard.

The guard taking a look at the boy then to the man in the dirt decided to take the man to the desmoterion. One of the guards ask if i needed help with the child to the nearest man of medicine. I accepted and we flew through the city to help this child.

When we arrived the bristly old man had rushed us to an empty bed to heal the child. In the midst of the rush I have forgotten about the snake that was with the boy. "AAAAAAHHHHHH!!" a scream was heard in the childs room.

We ran back to see the same snake I saw before coiled and ready to strike at anyone brave enough to step near the boy. Cautiously stepping closer to the now sleeping child I said to the snake " Please we need to help him, or else he will die from his wounds."

I thought that this is completely stupid. To think that a simple snake would actually understand me. honestly i think that my nerves are getting to me during all of this choas. " You preissstesss you help thisss child ssso i ssshall let you near. We need to have wordsss." spoke the snake.
