chaeyong's pov

it was so surprising that they have thought of celebrating my birthday with them, for a fan- its making me feel so special on this day

of course i got directions from my brother lol

while on my way, i casually put on my earphones and started singing along to the songs that came up on my playlist.

a few minutes has passed and i have reached the building. feeling nervous, i choosed to go first to my brother.

and as soon as he saw me, he asked me about my plans for the day.

"little sis, what are you doing here?" he asked, raising his eyebrow while looking at me attentively.

"meeting friends for my birthday," i said bluntly.

now i don't think i'd be able to show myself to them.

kun would thought that i lied to him. everything might become a mess.

"you're hesitating to tell me. what is it?" he asked again, showing the curiosity overflowing in his face.

"ya, chaeyong." he said while shaking his hands in front of me. "ah the grou-" I got cut off by a voice.

"chaeyong? is that you?" the voice comes closer.

"chanyeol's younger sister." kyungsoo added.

as i turn to face the person whoever owns that melodic voice, the fact that shook me was doyoung.

i was going to answer him then before i opened my mouth, my brother had spoken first.

"you're meeting someone, huh" he said while looking at him.

i didn't have time to defend my self from my brother and instead of speaking, i was staring at doyoung too.

"hyung is it okay if we invite her to the dorm?" doyoung spoke clearly, he's nervous waiting for his response.

"it's okay. you guys may go now. just make sure she'll go back at 4," my brother answered.

"alright." i said and as he gripped my hand, we hurriedly make our way out of the building.

"chaeyong, the others are waiting for you." he said while trying to catch his breath.

"we should hurry," he added now loosening the grip in my arms.

"okay," i replied.

he suddenly stopped and looked at me.

"happy birthday, chaeyong." he said while smiling.

"oh- thank you!" i exclaimed.

after a short period of walking, we have finally reached their dorm.

it was so dark and i couldn't see but doyoung was there, guiding me.

at the very moment that i set foot to the doorstep and as i opened the door, the confetti fell on me and all the members were singing the happy birthday song.

the other member came to me and putted a hat on me.

while there's kun, standing in the center bringing a cake with candles lighted up.

as soon as the song reached it's end, the lights in the room were turned on and we were inside their practice room.

i found the smiles in their faces illuminating and enchanting.

it was like a dream. being with them on my birthday.

they're so kind. how could they be real?

stop spacing out chaeyong. you shouldn't miss this moment.

kun came in front of me and smiled.

"happy birthday, the girl from the coffee shop, right?" he said while handing the cake.

"yes, it was me." i answered and blowed it. the member's reactions were hilarious.

"ohhhhh,"

"hyung it's destiny!"

"awww! look at them,"

"stop it you guys," i said while covering my face.

"you should stop teasing them." taeyong said to the members.

"we cooked these dishes with all our hearts. we hope that you'll enjoy the food," johnny stated with a wink.

"thank you so much for this guys, my day is already complete." i said preparing myself to eat.

"let's eat, shall we?" yuta added.

"noona, enjoy your food." jeno spoke to me while handing me the plate.

"i will, actually im enjoying already." i said to him.

the food was delicious and the side dishes were mouthwathering. it was so great, my tummy was so full.

"how's the food? is it okay?" kun asked, while seating next to me.

"yes! it's so good!" i answered immidiately while giving him a thumbs up.

"it's a relief," he said looking away.

"i hope that you'll remember this day," he added.

"I will, and I'll never forget." i said to him with an assuring look.

we talked for about hours with the other members and we didn't realised how much time hass passed till it was time for me to come home.

the members bid me goodbye as i told them that it was time to go.

"noona, let's hang out again! you're fun to be with!" chenle squealed.

"sure! " i replied.

"she's becoming their favorite," lucas said quietly, making sure chaeyong wouldn't hear him.

"tsk, you're just jealous-" jungwoo said but he was cut off by him.

"who says that im jealous?!" he scoffed at his best friend while crossing his arms.

"alright, alright you're not." jungwoo said to him as he was facing chaeyong who is getting farther away.

"awww i like the sight of these two," Mark said to himself.

"kun hyung is sweet!" haechan replied. "he even sent her home," jaemin added.

they took the bus to her house. they kept talking until the bus reached it's stop to the neighbourhood where chaeyoung lives.

he walked with her until they were in front of her house.

"thank you for taking me home, kun. i had fun today, it was all because of you." she said to him, her eyes were sparkling and her smile was so wide.

"it is my pleasure. i guess you have to go now, your parents are waiting for you." kun said to her.

they didn't noticed that they held hands when they went off the bus untill the door opened and she heared her sister clearing her throat while eyeing at the directions of their hands that were once clasped.

"is he your friend?" her sister asked her, staring at him intently.

"yes he is," chaeyong defended themselves.

kun bowed and greeted them before saying goodbye.

"happy birthday, sweetie!" her mother exclaimed as she came to hug her.

and that was the best birthday she ever had.
