Kaira's POV
I laid on my bed, trying to sleep. But, the glimpses of the future horrified me. I looked at our family photograph on the bedside table.
It was the day, we went to the amusement park. Daddy carried me on his back and mom was side hugging dad. Those days were gone. Those beautiful and perfect days were gone. My parents are gonna separate. They are gonna part ways with each other and I can't do anything about it. I could no longer jump on their bed in the morning and they wake them with a jerk, and then kiss them good morning. My family was gonna break or shall I say it had already broken. A lone tear escaped my eye.
I felt the bed slightly sinking down. Two arms engulfed me from the back and someone laid beside me.
"Princess..."
It was dad. But, I didn't want to talk to him.
Before I could know, I was crying with hiccups.
Dad hugged me tighter making me weak into losing my emotions.
"Sshh...baby. Daddy's here. Everything's gonna be fine. "
"No its not. Its never gonna be fine. I don't wanna talk to you. Just leave", I managed to speak in between my hiccups.
"I am not leaving before my lil girl stops crying."
"You have lost the privilege of calling me 'your little girl ' long back."
Shoot!! Did I just speak that? From where the hell did you get so much courage, Kaira?
"No matter what, you'll always be my little girl. Daddy's little girl. Daddy will always love you."
"And I will always hate you", I blurted out.
His grip on me suddenly loosened.
Crap! Did I just say that? Did I hurt him?
He got off the bed and left the room.
Yeah, you hurt him Kaira. Hurt in the sense, badly hurt....

Guys, this was a small update fron my side. I am really sorry for being extremely irregular, but the situations are opposing. I will surely update some books in the weekends....
