“What’s in your hand?” Seeing the lack of response, Yun Ke frowned and walked towards him.

Ye Zhizhou quickly withdrew his line of sight. Whilst getting up with the help of his knee, he put the mirror back into the bag’s side pocket.

Recalling the original character’s settings, he bowed down in an introverted and timid, whispering, “Nothing…… Brother Yun, did you already have dinner?”
Yun Ke didn’t respond, his tone only getting colder as he spoke. “Lift your head when you speak.”

Ye Zhizhou obediently raised his head, meeting the man’s dissatisfied look.
Dissatisfied?

At what? A person’s concern for whether you have eaten or not make you feel dissatisfied?
After the brief mocking, Ye Zhizhou lowered his eyesight to avoid the male lead’s gaze.

He quickly rummaged through his brain to access the data and the original character’s memory. After three seconds, he figured out the reason for Yun Ke’s dissatisfaction. He remained silent for a while, secretly cursing in his heart.
So Yun Ke wasn’t just dissatisfied because of that greeting just now – he was merely dissatisfied with Du Yang as a whole!

From the information data, Du Yang’s identity was the Yun Family’s adopted son. But from the data, Du Yang’s status was not just an orphan of a family friend, he was also the younger brother of Yun Ke’s wife! That’s right! Before the protagonist arrived, Yun Ke already had a wife! But the wife was very unlucky, and on the same day as their marriage, she died in a car accident in order to save Yun Ke’s life.
A wedding ceremony turned into a funeral – it was simply a tragedy.
And this unlucky wife was Du Yang’s older sister, Du Yun.

Du Yun died, leaving behind the huge Du Family properties with no heir. Du Yang was still young at the time, and excluding the brother and sister duo, all of the Du Family had already died a few years ago. Yun Ke couldn’t bear it, and took over all of the Du Family properties as Du Yun’s spouse. Over the past years, Yun Ke had been preparing Du Yang to become a qualified heir in order to pass the Du Property to him later. Unfortunately, with no parental figure in Du Yang’s childhood, as well as witnessing his sister’s tragic death at such a young age, he grew up very crooked.

However, towards Yun Ke, he become timid and weak. Obviously, the timid and introverted look that Ye Zhizhou had shown before had succeeded in provoking Yun Ke’s sensitive ‘ cultivate an excellent heir ‘ nerve.
Ye Zhizhou wanted to sigh again.

Yun Ke saw the youth looking at him in a fearful manner – looking away with only a glance. Yun Ke’s expression became even darker, and his cold tone was almost able to cause frostbite. “Lift your head when you speak.”

What a temper.

With the male lead’s glacial tone, and the very real risk of being frozen to death, Ye Zhizhou didn’t dare to continue the ‘timid and introverted’ act anymore.

The younger of the two men raised his head again, this time looking straight into Yun Ke’s cold gaze.

Seeing the eyes that were focused on his face, Yun Ke frowned. “Are you dissatisfied with me?”
……fuck.

Ye Zhizhou had unconsciously let a haughty and confident light enter his gaze.
He couldn’t help but glare at the older male.

The eyes that were usually filled with fear and nervousness were currently full of a rare energy – shining bright and looking straight on.

Yun Ke was a bit surprised at the change, doubting his eyes for what they saw. He couldn’t help but look carefully into the younger pair of eyes. Suddenly, those eyes blinked, then closed tightly – being covered by a fat hand.
