*Shortie!*
Katie drove where they told her to, each turn and mile passed brought her closer to the docks, or so she figured. Her initial feelings of confidence were waning until she finally noticed her first secret Son. Half-Sack was waiting at a bus stop, only arriving a few seconds before she passed, wearing all black but with a striking pair of brightly colored sneakers. It was the only way they knew to covertly assure her she was not alone. One pair of neon sneakers made all the difference in the world for Katie.
When they arrived, her captors dragged her roughly to one of many abandoned buildings along the docks. The room smelled of stagnant water and pennies, mainly from the rust, along with garbage and other nasty things left by addicts and the homeless.
"All this money and this is where he takes me?"
"You're really funny, huh?" One of the men said as he shoved her down onto the floor and cable-tied her to some half corroded steel beam. "Funny fuckin' girl."
"Got it from my daddy," she spat. "Where is he?"
"He's on his way," she was assured by the second man.
Katie watched as they went through her purse. Pocketing the cash she had in her wallet and skimming her phone for information while they chatted quietly together, completely ignoring her. The sound of an engine outside called everyone's attention though, they all looked toward the door when Jacob strolled in.
"I'd curtsy but, ya know, kinda tied up at the moment."
Smiling, Jacob crouched down and slapped her hard across the face. "I want the name of whoever contacted you from CID."
"Why?" She licked the tiny drop of blood that stained the corner of her mouth. "So you can kill me then go after him?"
"Essentially, yes," he said curtly.
"He'll be here soon," she smirked. "That's not my usual phone, it's basically a government issued burner. He's been tracking me since we first spoke." It wasn't a total lie but the government wasn't tracking Katie, it was actually someone much more dangerous.
Jacob looked at his men sending them scattering out to wait for their unexpected visitor. When they were alone he turned back to Katie and looked at her with a deep frown.
"You were such a cute baby. Fat as hell but that just made you cuter." He shook his head. "Shame I'll have to bury you, never woulda thought I'd have to back then."
"Yeah, well," she said, confidence waning again, "Sorry, I guess."
"Why aren't you crying?" He asked, suddenly looking around the large empty space. "You're a crier. You always cry."
"The agent," she said. "He's probably on his way."
"What was his name?" Jacob asked suspiciously.
"Jackson Teller," she smirked.
"Fuck!" Jacob hollered, turning to look behind him. His eyes fell on Jax as he, Happy, and Chibs came in the far door. "You gotta be fucking kidding me!"
Jax smirked and, cigarette still between his fingers, elbowed Jacob in the face and sent him straight to the filthy floor.
"You think I'm kidding?" He asked with a smug grin.
"Alright, badass," Katie chuckled, "Cut me loose."
Removing his blade from his belt with one fluid movement, Jax slit the cable ties and helped her back to her feet.
"You okay?" He asked, knowing Happy and Chibs were keeping Jacob subdued.
"Yeah," she said with a timid voice. "The other two?"
"Dead," Happy grumbled behind them. "Rolled em' off into the water. Got your shit from the pockets."
"Thank you, Happy," she said sweetly. Katie looked at Jax and smiled. "Thank you, my Harley riding hero."
Rolling his eyes he pulled his gun from his pants and offered it to her. "Ready?"
"Yep." Pushing his hand aside, Katie reached for his father's knife. "This was JT's?"
"Yeah," he said sadly.
"Mind if I use it instead?" Katie asked darkly. "My mom bled out, it kind of ticks two of those revenge boxes."
Jax nodded and kissed her forehead, his one hand cupping her cheek. "You gonna be okay?"
"Yeah," her voice wavered. "Long time coming."
Taking a shaky, deep breath Katie walked over to an identical beam where Chibs had Jacob. "You fucking bitch," he seethed.
"You did this," she said calmly. "You had Clay kill mom, you helped kill JT, you destroyed my relationship with Jax, used me, threatened me." Katie got down on her knees and, without hesitation, stabbed her father in the stomach. "This blood is on your hands, not mine."
They all watched as she savagely twisted the blade before yanking it out again. Blood poured from the wound and Jacob struggled against Chibs, grunting and groaning from the pain.
"You're a whore just like your mother," he sputtered.
Katie instantly snapped. Her eerily calm demeanor was gone and before she knew it she was hacking and slashing at Jacob.
"Hey, hey, hey," Jax said quickly. He came behind her and grabbed her arms. "It's okay, it's okay. He's dead, Kate."
Katie groaned. "I wish he could have suffered fucking longer," she spat.
"I know," Jax soothed her. Whether or not Jacob planned it didn't matter, either way he got a quicker death than he deserved and she had planned. "You won, babe, that's all that matters now."
"Thank you, Jax," she whimpered.
"Don't thank me," he smiled sadly. "Let's get you cleaned up, you look like Carrie."
That made Katie laugh despite being covered in blood and having just murdered her father. "What about him?"
"We got that," Chibs told her. He gestured to the door where Happy, who had mysteriously disappeared, entered the building again with large yellow gloves and a mask on.
"Christ, what is he gonna do?"
Jax smirked. "Hap's gonna make sure no one ever finds Roger Whitman or Jacob Feldstein."
