Hi! My name is Evie Jackson. I was 11 when my life changed forever....
I was living in a apartment with my mom and Stepdad, Gabe. Gabe was drunk almost all the time, and when I say almost I mean 24/7 . Gabe started hitting my mom when I was 5. Me, being an idiot, jumped in front of her one night and started to take the beatings for her. Gabe eventually killed my mom and went to jail, I went all over the world with social services looking for some part of my family to take me in but they didn't, that's how I ended up here, in 'Gainesville, Florida Orphanage'.
I am now 15, these events occurred 4 year ago today. I have Black hair and blue eyes. I enjoy singing, dancing, and drawing. I dance more than sing because of my self consciousness and anxiety. Drawing brings me away from reality as well as books-my favorite are Harry Potter-anyway I have ADHD and dyslexia but that won't stop me from reading. I had gotten so used to my dyslexia that it rarely bothers me anymore. Tomorrow is adoption day too so I'm just gonna hang out on the bay window downstairs reading HP. See ya tomorrow. Peace out!
