While Evie (and Percy by extension) are both 15, the Giant and Titan war has already happened, and Percabth, Solangelo, Jiper, Frazel, and Caleo are still sailing. Also Sorry if I don't update, it's because I have End of Year testing this week and have another story I'm making going on. Sorry.

On with da story

Evie's POV

I wake up to the frozen knock.

I blinked. Once. Twice. 

That wasn't only the frozen knock, that was my Brother and I's knock when we were meeting in private away from Gabe. We were very close back then, Gabe tried to keep us apart as much as he could without using the money to switch Percy's school. He loved to use that money for alcohol and poker games instead.

The knock comes again, and I sigh getting out of my comfortable bed and walking over to the door.

"What if it's an intruder, trying to kill you and your new family." My anxiety comes out of nowhere and I almost scream, ALMOST.

"Anxiety, you can't do that! I'm sure it's my brother, he's the only other person who would know to use that knock." I reason with her, I'll admit it was kind of strange to talk to my Anxiety because of her looking like an Emo clone of me.

I open the door tiredly, and immediately shut it behind me.

"PERSEUS JACKSON!" I yell at him, he looked so battered and bruised.

"Hey, Eve," he says, immediately looking bashful and apologetic, I don't care how angry I am at him, I go over to him and hug him. I beckon him to follow me and we go down the stairs and toward the entrance. Once we both take a seat, I take a good look at who I am related to.

Percy had a busted lip that looked like it was healing over, a ripped orange shirt, jeans that have a lot of dirt on them, and his messy black hair was sprawled everywhere. I sent him an apologetic look.

"Sorry for yelling, I guess I was upset that you came back so easily after you left me four years ago, and now all it took was a letter." I looked down and so did Percy, he shrugged his shoulders and I saw how bad the past four years had been for him. His shoulders sagged and he looked worn out.

"Yeah, I guess. I never left New York though. When I ran away at 11, I found myself at a school with my friend, Grover. Turned out he wasn't who I expected and we both almost died trying to get to a camp. That's where I met my friends and girlfriend, Annabeth." Percy explained and I didn't want to be the annoying sister that teased you about your love life...but I couldn't help it. I immediately perked up at Girlfriend.

"Girlfriend huh? Will I get to meet this Annabeth?" I said moving closer to my brother. He blushed of course, but kept his cool.

"Hopefully by the end of the week." Percy grinned, and I couldn't contain my excitement
I was nearly bursting through the roof!

"Really!!" Percy nodded with a large smile on his face, it was strange that I just meet my brother after4 years and I already feel like he hasn't smiled much.
I hugged my brother and realized a) I'm going to be leaving him again, and b) Dad was probably worried about me by now.
"Crap! Percy I got to go, my adopted family is probably worried by now!" I stood up abruptly and Percy followed my lead
"Then go ahead back, I'll just coincidentally bump into you later today..." Percy smirked and I realized what a genius idea that was. Guess my brother got some education in before the incident
"Bye, for now." I say and walk back to the room thankful I didn't forget the room key. I turned back once to see in Percy was watching me, he was. I waved goodbye and started walking again when I stopped and ran back to hug my brother once more.
"I missed you all these years. I love you sis..." Percy whispered in my ear and I hugged him tighter, not wanting this moment to end.
" I love you too... "
