"One more minute mum!" I said while getting my hoodie on and fixing my fringe.

"Okay hun! The bus is almost here, might want to hurry!"

I ran downstairs and kissed my mum on the cheek and grabbed my camera and put it into my bag. My heart was pounding out of my chest as I opened the door and waited for the us to come pick me up. The first day was always nerve-wracking, but I was especially freaked out of what people would think about me. I can defiantly take criticism. The bus arrived and opened its doors with a loud screeching noise. I walked onto the steps and found my way to the back of the bus. Everyone was either on their phones or talking to their friends. I sat down and took out my camera, polishing the lense.

"You new here?" a voice said to my right. I jumped and felt the seat next to me slouch down, indicating that someone was sitting next to me.

"Uh, yeah..." I didn't look up and decided to put my camera in my bag and look out of the window.

"I can show you around if you want, I mean if you need help-"

"That'll be great." I interrupted.

I knew a girl was talking to me, which was rare considering I was the school's punching bag last year at Cheshire.

"I'm Olivia. What's your name?"

I looked up to see a girl with hazel eyes and light freckles. Her hair was down and very straight, which went to about her waistline. I wasn't gonna lie, but man was she beautiful. She gave me a warming smile and nudged me, saying, "Are you gonna answer me or keep staring?" I coughed awkwardly and and smiled. "My name's Harry. Harry Mathews."

Once we got to the school, Olivia and I got off of the bus and she showed me around.

"Okay, so school doesn't start until 8:00, so we have about a half an hour. Where's your first class?" I pulled out my schedule and handed it to her.

She smiled and said, "Awesome! I have the same classes as you! C'mon, I'll help you get settled."

She grabbed my hand and pulled me into the building. A blast of warm air hit my body as I walked in. Kids were hustling down their classes and talking very loudly and laughing. I saw a group of kids looking about my age, and one of them glanced at me and rolled their eyes. I asked Olivia who those five kids were and she told me not to worry about them; that they were the "popular kids" of the school. I couldn't help but notice there was four guys and one girl in that group.

We pushed our ways through the hallway and finally reached a blue door that says 'Mrs. Conley' on the front in black.

"This is yearbook 101. We get to design the yearbook and stuff like that. I think you'll be the one snapping the shots of students and teachers. that's probably why you got signed up for this.

"Yeah, I'm qutie good taking photos according to my mum." I smiled and she returned the favor.

"Then this is the class for you." Olivia pulled my arm and I followed behind her. We then came to a room with a red door on it, saying 'Mr. Oliva'.

"This class is language arts. We have two periods with the same teacher, so that will be fun."

She showed me the rest of the classes until the bell rang and we went to our first class. There was only about seven kids or so in the room, including us, and five of them being the popular kids. One boy had blonde hair with blue eyes and a strange accent, I think it was Irish. I spotted two other kids, looking like they were brother and sister I heard one of their names, being Louis. Finally, I saw a black haired boy in a varcity jacket and another brown haired boy both looking at me and quickly turning away. I sat down to the back of the room with Olivia facing me. the teacher hushed the class and said,

"All eyes please, thank you. If you haven't noticed, we have a new student. His name is Harry." Mrs. Conley smiled at me, along with the other kids just staring or rolling their eyes.

I waved and slouched back into my seat. Olivia put her hand onto mine and nodded at me telling me you'll get used to it. Class ended quickly as she explained what our next project was and that you needed a partner. Olivia and I were paired up seperatley, along with the Tomlinson twins (as I later learned) and Zayn and Liam all were in our seperate groups. I walked down the hall with Olivia and went to the rest of my classes, finishing school.
