Chapter Three: Punching Bag

"Alright, thank you... Olivia, and Harry for finishing your project in less than a week! It truly is amazing. Mind if I show it to the princable?" Mrs. Conley asked. I glanced at Olivia and nodded, still keeping my head down.

"Uh, sure!" Olivia said for me. I wasn't used to the whole 'new class, new school' thing. Mrs. Conley nodded and walked out o the room with a smile.

I looked out of the corner of my eye and five pairs of eyes were one me. I sifted in my seat and nudged Olivia. 

"what's with them?" I gestured to Liam, Zayn, Niall, and the Tomlinson twins and Olivia looked down.

"Let's talk outside. We have the rest of the period to hang out." She pulled me by my hand and took me outside of the door.

"Why don't they like me?" I looked down and rubbed my arm while Olivia stared at me with confusion.

"Why do you care what they think of you? I like you just the way you are. They," Olivia pointed to the door, "Don't matter. Only the people that care for you do," She grabbed my hand and I linked our fingers together. My face warmed up and I smiled weakly. 

 She frowned and let go of my hand slowly, but I refused and tightened my grip slightly.

"N-no, I want this." I looked at our hands and she let go of mine completely and said no.

 I regret everything I just did in that past minute. But the one word left my mouth.

"Why?"

Olivia looked down and sighed. "It's too fast, trust me. I know."

"O-okay, let me know when you are ready." I looked down and she frowned, but then smiled like a switch had clicked.

"What now." I asked her.

"The fair is tonight, let's go together. Just me and you. Nothing to loose." I smiled and hugged her, telling her I'd loved to go. She had to stand on her toes to reach my height, but I thought her height was cute.
