Y/n's pov
i walk down stairs to see my mom and D.j talking about something, it looks like serious talk, but i decide to listen in and hear what they are talking about. all the kids besides tommy start school today. and we all know this is the worst day of the year. i thought i was going to be home schooled because of my illness. i have a type of illness where i'm allergic to the sun, i can't go outside when it's bright or i will burn really badly. i've basically lived in side my whole life. the life i had isn't ideal, but i got used to it after a while. i can only go outside when it's dark out or when i'm covered in long sleeve shirts and pants. i can't wear jeans with hole because there's a chance i could burn. i got interrupted by my thoughts when i hear jackson calling my name "y/n, what you thinking about?" "school, my mom said i would be homeschooled but that clearly isn't happening right now." i replied. "why were you going to be homeschooled?" he asked " i have a rare condition where i'm allergic to the sun. i have never attended public schools because my illness is so bad that i could die from being burned." " oh y/n that really sucks. i'm sorry" i finished walking down the stairs not saying anything back to him...
