Detention

I walked into detention with a gloomy face, not much different to my normal face. It was only Taehyung and I. I sat as far away from him as possible. Unfortunately, he came and sat next to me.

"How are ya Betty."

"What do want?"

"To talk to you."

"Nope"

Taehyung pulled his chair round so he was sitting in front of me.

"Why do you hate me?"

"Well your annoying and cocky and just too perfect."

"So you think I'm perfect. So sweet!" He teased.

"Fuck off."

I put my headphones on and listened to music. I completely ignored Taehyung who was trying to get my attention.

I starting humming to the song. I reallly love singing so I couldn't help it. I was eventually singing.

The teacher had left to help our headteacher in the office so we were alone.

As I was singing, I heard a deep beautiful voice harmonising with me. I closed my eyes and sang with passion. It was really beautiful. When the song ended I opened my eyes.

"Betty you have an incredible voice."

I stayed silent.

"Seriously. You should do something with this talent."

"No."

"Shame."

There was I silence.

"I'm bored let's do something."

"I'm fine thanks."

"Oh come on. Pleeeaaassseee?"

"Fine."

"Let's play a game. Whoever can make the most paper planes and throw them to the other side in ten minutes buys the loser lunch tomorrow."

"Your on."

"Three... two... one... go!"

The game was really fun. It ended in Taehyung winning but we were laughing and having fun. It felt good cause it was rare.

Detention ended quicker than I thought it would. I was so relieved that I got to go home. Unfortunately, Taehyung wanted to walk with me. We were walking the same way so he tagged along annoyingly.

"Why do you hate Jemma?"

"I tell you so many times but you don't believe me."

"Of course I don't! She's my girlfriend."

"She was seriously the one who injured me this morning."

"I don't believe it."

" I don't care."

"Why are you never happy."

"Easy for you to say. You have a massive house, your popular, your rich, you have a girlfriend. Millions of people love you. Your this amazing musician that has it all. I on the other hand am a sociopath. I rip myself from the social world. People hate me, I struggle with money."

"Being famous isn't all that amazing. I have to miss school for all of these concerts and tours. It's bad for me yet I still have to keep up good grades. There's so much pressure having to be this perfect role model for loads of people. People are always just there. The only real friends that I have are the band members and Jemma. It's good that the members come to this school or I would be alone."
