Chapter 8

So today is my Birthday(August 27th is my real birthday) and I really wish Peyton, Karan, Skai, Debby, and Cameron where here; but I'm with my family so it's all good. My parents surprised me this morning with a new phone, a Samsung Galaxy s5 Active. I have to say it's a pretty nice phone, it water resistant in up to 3 ft of water. (more if you have a water proofcase)

It gets kind of lonely staying at home by yourself while your family is at work or at school, so I decided to throw my self a party with me and some of my sisters stuffed animals. I know that sounds like lose stuff, but what else an I supposed to do. Well I could have my grandpa drive me to the mall and just look around and see who's there, that might be fun. So I called up my grandpa at around 11:30 and asked him if we could go to the mall and he said we could.

I was shocked when we got to the mall because I guess it was lunch time for some of the Frisco kids so there where a bunch if high schoolers in the food court. I was going to try and avoid the food court but I was starving so I had to.......

Not even 5 minutes after I sat down and to eat my food the phones where wiped out and my twitter was buzzing with people tagging me with pictures of me and the, "oh my gosh! @kennedyrussell1 is sitting right by me! So cool!" and tweets like that.

after about an hour at the mall I called my grandpa to take me home, and on our way home I noticed I had a text from an unknown number. It was from Lovejoy Texas,I thought oh it must be one of Grace's friends who got my number. So I responded to the message of

'Hello, is this Kennedy Russell?'

'Yes it is. Might I ask who this is?'

'Oh yes, my bad. It's Gavin Casalegno from the movie Noah and When the Game Stands Tall.'

'Wait, Gavin? Wow I've been wanting to text you and you text me first. Typical.'

' Your funny. Hey I have to get back to class but how about we hang out tonight? I believe it's your birthday right?'

'ya it is and we'll we have a tradition where the birthday person gets to chose where we go out to eat, and I could see if you can come. But only if you want.'

'ya that would be great. So (hopefully) see you tonight. ☺'

'see you tonight. '

So at 4:30 I was getting all dressed up in my nice dress with my converse, getting ready for my birthday dinner with my family and Gavin. And then the door bell rang, "I'LL GET IT!" my mom yelled from down stairs. then I heard whispering so I walked out of my room to see who was at the door.

It was  Cameron holding a bouquet of red roses.
