After that day, Theo and I see each other consistently again. Sa mga araw na nagkasama kami ay nakalimutan kong tumawag si Vander sa akin noong isang araw.

"Xav, malapit na ang birthday ni Theo." Kuya Brett said over the dinner.

"Oo nga pala! His birthday is on Christmas Day, Xav." dagdag ni Ate Faith.

"Uuwi ako niyan ng Manila." sabi ko. Tumaas naman ang kilay ni Kuya Brett sa akin.

"Said who?" I rolled my eyes at him.

I want to celebrate my Christmas with my family. That's why.

"Wag ka ngang OA." sagot ko dito.

"Oo nga, Brett. It's Christmas after all. She needs to spend it with her family." dagdag ni ate Faith. She was helping me to convince kuya Brett para pauwiin ako ng Manila. My cousin thought I won't go back here after holidays. Who knows, right? Hindi ko rin alam. But I will always keep in touch with them naman kung iyon ang kinakabahala niya.

Isang araw bigla naman akong nag crave ng potato wedges with creamy cheese! I tried finding one at the kitchen but wala na.

"Ate Faith, I think I need to go to bayan. May bibilhin lang ako."  paalam ko. And also, I will borrow her car para mas mabilis lang. Kesa mag commute ako.

"Ano bibilhin mo, Tita Via?" si Blythe naman ang sumagot sakin.

"I'll buy potato wedges at the market, baby." sagot ko at umupo sa tabi niya at dumampot ng popcorn.

"Oh. I thought you're meeting Tito Theo." sabay hagikhik nito.

Hindi ko na lang pinansin ang asar ni Blythe sa akin.

Pinahiram naman ako ni Ate Faith ng sasakyan niya. I wore a mustard bandeau and black high-waist shorts. I don't know, wearing like this in the island seems very normal. Parang dito ko lang kaya magsuot mg ganito ka sexy dahil na sa isla ako.

I am singing while in the car. Love songs is my kind of mood right now kaya hanggang sa dumating ako sa bayan ay parang good mood ako.

I decided to buy some clothes too since wala na ako masyadong masuot. I bought some skin care essentials too because I decided to get tanned.

My decision is final. Uuwi ako ng Manila sa Christmas. It's Theodore's birthday and I will just give him gift. Hindi naman ako ganoon ka espesyal para manatili sa kanyang kaarawan. He can spend his day with his family and friends here.

"Vina, I'm tired na. You bought too much." said by a familiar voice. Parang na rinig ko na ang ganyang boses noong isang araw.

"Amelda, I told you I can go alone." someone answered. Papalapit naman ang kanilang boses na dalawa sa aking pwesto.

"You must be crazy, Vina. You shouldn't be in this island!" the Amelda said and rolled her eyes. Patuloy lang ako sa pagpili ng mga essentials ko sa aisle kung saan kaming tatlo lang.

"Why not? Sa kanya ba ang isla na 'to? Hindi naman. I'll go wherever I want to." Vina answered.

"You lowkey want to see him. Dear, you broke him and expecting him to crawl back to you when he sees you here?" I don't know. From that moment, I started giving them a little doubt. I turned to face them while still searching for some products.

Nagtama naman ang mga mata namin na dalawa ni Vina.
