Percy Jackson wasn't stupid. He knew he'd had his fair share of bad experiences. Though his better memories typically outweighed the bad ones, he still found himself struggling with his emotions. He knew he shouldn't have bottled them up, but the last thing he wanted to do was worry those around him. He'd done that enough in his life.

There were consequences to hiding how you truly felt. The bad things were bound to catch up to you. By the time Annabeth had realized that she and Percy didn't necessarily work out as well as everyone had thought, it had been nearly a year since the two of them had entered and left Tartarus.

Annabeth seemed to talk to the Apollo cabin about their time there any time it entered that hell entered her thoughts. Percy... didn't want to think about it, so he only spoke about it when his friends forced him to. They could see how much differently the Son of Poseidon had handled the unintentional trip down compared to the Daughter of Athena, and they didn't understand why.

Annabeth had been the first one to convince Percy to talk to Will Solace and his siblings about what they'd experienced, even after they'd broken up. The two of them were still close friends, even if Percy still had strong feelings for his ex-girlfriend. Nico di Angelo had been the second person to gently push him to speak about everything. The Son of Hades understood. He had experienced the same thing he had, alone. Much to his surprise - to everyone's- Jason Grace had been the last person that could make him talk.

It had been even more of a shock to everyone when they realized the Son of Jupiter had not only gotten him to talk to a healer, but he had also convinced him to just to talk to him. Percy still kept himself for the most part, but there were times when the boy could just share a few of the darker thoughts on his mind without needing to walk far. Percy's friend group was more than relieve that there was someone the Son of Poseidon was comfortable talking to.

Since he'd started talking to Jason, Percy found himself... falling for him. Hard. When the realization that he liked another guy, he'd run to Nico in a panic. He'd never felt this way, and the only thing running through his head was confusion. He was half a greek god. The idea of being gay was hardly his biggest concern. He just hadn't felt this way before, and this was hard and sudden. The crush he had on Jason was almost as prominent as the one he'd had on Annabeth.

Nico had simply smiled, obviously a tad bit amused as he watched his friend pace around the Hades Cabin. When The Ghost King had gotten out that his crush was on Jason, he'd simply grinned and told Perseus to go talk to him. Percy bit his lip, but he made his way to the Zeus Cabin with the Son of Hades following behind.

With a bit of a push from Nico, Percy had told his friend his real feelings. Jason had stopped his nervous rambling with a quick kiss to the lips, and it had made Percy realize that Jason had talked to Nico about his own gay feelings, too.  He pulled away from the kiss and stared at Jason with a blush. He'd stayed in the Zeus Cabin every night, after that (when Chiron wasn't keeping a close eye on them). Their relationship was almost as gushed over as Nico and Will's.

Percy found himself staring at the goddess in front of him with a hungry look in his eyes. His hands were raised offensively, and the small crowd of people surrounding him kept giving him nervous side glances. Annabeth Chase was the only one that had seen him this angry before.

"Seaweed Brain," her calm voice cut through the adrenaline haze in his brain. "She's toying with you. You need to step away."

The Son of Poseidon knew his best friend was right, but he didn't want to listen to her. The Goddess of Marriage in front of them had appeared nearly ten minutes ago, and Percy didn't even let her mess with them. His hands went up, and the ichor in her blood stopped. Unfortunately for him, the Daughter of Athena knew exactly what he was doing.

"I'm not risking it," Percy murmured, sounding a bit paranoid. "What if she does something? She's done enough to all of us..."

Annabeth glanced between Hera and me. Percy stared at her ex, knowing their feelings about the goddess were similar. The Son of Poseidon was slightly shocked when she actually moved to stop him from rendering a goddess immobile.

Jason was suddenly behind him and wrapping his arms around Percy. He hadn't expected the Son of Jupiter to be stupid enough to get this close when he was trying to kill a goddess (if that were something you could do). He made a face at his boyfriend before remembering that this was one thing he hadn't told anyone about even though he knew Annabeth had told Will.

"Jay, let me go," he mumbled, a bit distraught. "I don't want to hurt you."

"What are you doing to her, Perce...?" Jason said slowly.

He closed his eyes and tried to concentrate on Hera's ichor. The voices of his friends simply buzzed their way into his ears as Annabeth told them about his promise to never do this again. Jason's grip didn't even falter as Annabeth explained just how powerful Percy really was.

The Son of Poseidon was beginning to wish they'd just shut up and leave him alone. The last thing he wanted to do was hear how he'd tried to kill a minor goddess in Tartarus.  Percy hands shot up to his ears, and he watched Hera fall to the ground with a gasp.

"Shut up!" he screamed. "Just. Shut. Up."

Jason and Annabeth went silent, and their bodies froze. Percy fell to his knees as panic seized him. The look of fear on the rest of their friends faces only made the Son of Poseidon freeze more and soon enough, his two favorite blondes were unconscious on the ground beside them.

"-cy.. Percy!" Jason knelt down a few inches away from his boyfriend, frowning worriedly as he tried to shake the Son of Poseidon awake. "Hey... what happened?"

When he saw Jason sitting there, he didn't know whether or not he wanted to hide from him or hug him. The nightmare had felt so real. It didn't help that the nightmare had seemingly tired Percy out, and exhaustion was the biggest thing a demigod seemed to associate with untrained powers - at least as far as Percy had seen.

Percy and Jason both stared at one another, a different kind of worry in both boys' eyes. This wasn't the first time Percy had woken up from a nightmare in the Zeus Cabin. Jason had never seen him this panicked, though. Much to the Son of Jupiter's relief, Percy slowly began to uncurl from the ball he'd placed himself in.

"A-Are you okay...?" Percy's voice shook slightly as he stared into Jason's blue eyes. "I didn't hurt you, did I...?"

The words uttered from the other boy's mouth made a small frown appear on Jason's face, but the last thing he wanted to do was scare Percy more. The blonde nodded slightly before leaning down to kiss his forehead. As his lips became tickled by the hair falling onto Percy's slightly sweaty forehead, he felt the other's fingers moving to rest on the pulse point on his neck.

"What was your dream about, Perce?" he asked gently, moving the wet hair out of his eyes. "You know you can talk to me."

"You're okay," Percy suddenly burst into sobs, startling Jason.

"I'm fine," he promised quietly.

"In my dream-" a sob interrupted him, making Jason reach down to gently lift the raven-haired boy into his arms. "Y-You..."

"What about me?"

"I hurt you and Annabeth."

Jason gently pulled him a little closer, running a hand up and down his back. The Son of Poseidon held him tighter in return. His crying only got louder as he curled up in Jason's arms.

As Percy cried himself even closer to exhaustion, Jason found himself whisperering quietly into his ear. His words were soft and soothing, and they seemed to help calm his boyfriend down. With a small whine of protest, Percy fell back asleep. Jason talked to him the whole time, hoping he could keep another vicious dream away.

When Percy woke up again, he slowly sat up. His eyes wandered around the cabin before they settled on the boy sitting beside him. He slowly curled up against him, letting his head fall onto the crook of his neck.

"Did you sleep any better this time?" Jason asked softly, lifting his arm up to rub his back.

Percy simply nodded. His gaze fell onto his lap as he tried to force himself to tell Jason about his nightmare. When he finally did, Jason listened intently until he was finished. Instead of pulling away and being scared of Percy, the Son of Jupiter simply cracked a small smile.

"As much as I want my evil stepmother gone, killing her wouldn't land you on Olympus' good side," he joked.

Despite the obvious negative connotation of the statement, Percy still smiled a bit. He wasn't the only one that hated the goddess of marriage, and he knew it. Jason was right, though. He'd be seen as an enemy if he actually killed Zeus's wife.

"I know," he said softly. "I won't."

"Good," he kissed the top of his head. "How are you feeling, Percy? That sounded like... a terrifying dream."

"I could have done without hurting you and Annabeth," he said with a shudder. "I've been scared of hurting my friends and family with my powers since I'd returned from Tartarus. This dream felt real enough to traumatize me."

Percy felt Jason's arms wrap around him as soon as the words left his mouth. He welcomed the comfort the Son of Jupiter was able to provide. The blonde smiled a little as he felt Percy curl into his embrace.

"How about we watch a movie?" Jason motioned toward the laptop he had hiding under his pillow. "I know it isn't the safest thing we could be doing, but it might distract you a litte."

"I'd love that," Percy admitted, reaching for the computer before Jason had a chance to. "Which movies do you have?"

The two of them combed through Jason's limited selections of movies before settling on one of them. The boys curled together more as their chosen movie began. The sound of a cheesy comedy rang through the small cabin, and the people curled up on the bed didn't move until it was over (minus a bit of fidgeting, of course).
