can you feel the headrush darling?
that beautiful feeling of bliss
where your mind is calm as its fogging
when your mouth feels a cigs kiss
can you understand that craving
of wanting that smoke in your head
so you can forget for a moment your caring
and believe you’ll dream in your bed
I wonder if you’d understand
if I simply explained it all
and took you by the hand
to show you the nicotines powerful call
and yes I don’t need it per say
and it’s ruining my lungs
but I don’t care if this body decays
as long as my story is sung
by that little voice in one persons mind
and my memory is shared by a soul
this body means nothing in the worlds bind
so it’s okay if my lungs fill with coal
