Ryleigh's pov

I wake up and walk to Hayleigh's room. Today was the first day of break and it's been a few days since I seen Gene. "Hayleigh?" I ask while knocking. She doesn't respond.
"HAYLEIGH!" I yell. "What?" She asks opening her door. "Can Gene stay?" I ask. "Sure." Hayleigh says.
I squeal and run to my room, forgetting my phone is broken. Well that's great.
I get dressed and head to the door. I leave and I forget to shut it but I start running.
I get to Gene's house and knock on his door. Sasha answers. "Oh uh h-hey is Gene here?" I ask looking at the floor. "Tch still can't believe he chose you. Yeah he is but he's busy come back later." Sasha says. "Okay..." I say quietly and start walking back to my house. The door is closed when I get back.
I open the door and close it I slowly walk to my room. I close the door and lock it.
I take off my hoodie and shoes and pants. I put shorts on and I go to my bathroom.
I get my razor and make 20 lines across each arm. I clean up and bandage them. I head to my bed and watch YouTube on my laptop.
Hayleigh comes in with a iPhone X box. "Heard yah broke yours, got in fixed." She said. Handing me both of the phones. She left my room.
I got the iPhone X out and put all my info and numbers in it. I texted Gene.
Gene
Hey Sasha said you were busy so I left. Uh wondering if you wanted to stay the night?
No reply.
I feel tears threatening to come out. I realized he texted me before this.
Gene
Hey I think we should take a break.
It's not you it's me and we barely spend time with each other.
I love you but you don't make time for me.
Ryleigh are you okay?
I will always be here.
I'm sorry.

Baby I'm sorry.
I start bawling my eyes out. He texted me because he wanted a break and I didn't answer. I couldn't stopped all of this from happening. I hear my phone go off.
Gene
I would love to. I'm on my way.
Really? I thought you wanted a break.
I was wrong I'm sorry.
It's fine. See you in a little bit.

I smile. My rooms a mess though.
*Timeskip*
He finally gets here and we spend most of our time in my bed. Him on his back with me laying on his stomach. He's way much taller than me so it's almost like I'm the size of his stomach.
Hayleigh walks in. "Nothing inappropriate okay!" She yells and then leaves. I giggle and slowly fall asleep.
