Falling for my best friend

Five Years earlier........

Niall and Alexia have been best friends since they were in 6th grade. They met at school one day when Alexia was getting bullied by some mean girls. Niall saw so he went up to the mean girls and said "Leave her alone." One of the girls looked at him and said "Whatever,lets go." They left laughing and whispering Niall ignored them and picked Alexia's books from the ground and said "Are you okay?" Alexia nodded and said "Yea thanks" Alexia grabbed her books and quickly left. After she left Niall noticed she forgot her notebook. He picked it up and and ran after her. He called her name but she kept ignoring him, when she got home she ran to her room and slammed the door. Seconds later Niall knocked on the door Alexia's mom opened the door. Niall said "Hi,is Alexia home? She dropped her notebook." Alexia's mom smiled and let Niall in "Her bedroom is on the left" He walked to her door and knocked "Alexia,its me ,Niall." She opened the door and Niall noticed that she was crying. He gave her a hug and said "Don't cry, I promise I won't let anyone hurt you."
