Chapter 1 - Hi There

Hey GUYS!! This is my VERY FIRST book ever written. So please bear with me and my clumsy mistakes. This book is from my own imagination and ideas so please DO NOT COPY the storyline or anything!! YEyyy ill probably stop now and just let you guys read :))

Chapter 1 - Hi There

Hi im audrey! I have long blonde hair and eyes like the oceans. Im fair and lips pink. I think im tall but still smaller than others.

" Audrey, how do you like it?" asked my dad who had a really hopeful look in his face.

I smiled as I looked at the big house. It has two floors so the bedrooms are in the second floor.

My dad and I just moved here in California from New York for his business. My dad is the head of The Vortex Corporation so his income is pretty large.

"I love it dad. It is really big. You know you could have just gotten a smaller one.". My dad laughed and said, "Well I wanted to get the best house for my princess! Now let's check the house out while Sarah and Margret arrange our things and furnitures."

Sarah and Margret are our housekeepers but i like to treat them as friends.

The first thing I did was run up the stairs to claim my room. There were 3 rooms so I had to look at each one. I found a room that had a similar size as the master's bedroom and it was furnished the way i liked it. It has a door to a bathroom and another door to a walk-in closet. But my favorite part of it is the balcony. I knew that this room was mine. It even has a queen size bed. Just in time Margret walked in bringing all of my belongings from New york. I thanked her as she left. I checked the time and saw that it was 10:00am.

"Time to unpack and put some life to this room." I sighed as I began bringing life to my dull bedroom.

~12:00pm~

Ding! Dong!

The sound I heard that made me stop and look at the work I have done. " I'll answer it!" I shouted while running to get to the door.

When I got there I patted my hair and straightened my clothes to make myself look more proper. As I opened the door I saw a girl about my age.

She has light brown hair that reaches just before the middle of her back , eyes that are a light brown and she is almost as tall as me.

"Hi there! I saw all your stuff outside so I came by to welcome you guys. I am Jennifer  by the way. You could just call me Jenn and I live right next to your house." she greeted me with a friendly smile on her face. I thought she was nice, kind and pretty too.

So I said "Hello Jenn. I am Audrey Lace. Oh so I guess we are neighbors. Come in I was actually just fixing my room you could come since they are still fixing the living room." I let her in and told dad that we were just going to be upstairs.

As soon as we entered my room Jenn almost shouted.

"Your house is like amazing! Especially your room! " the look in her face was so priceless that I laughed so loud.

"What?" she asked sheepishly.

"Nothing you should have seen the look in your face! " I said while trying to stop laughing.
