Addison's POV

The gender reveal for Axle and I's baby ended in tragedy. His mother had died, and so did my grandmother.

My grandpa lived luckily his injuries we're pretty bad. It's been a month since grandma and Ax's mom died, dad insisted that grandpa come live with us for a while.

Axle is so devastated that his mother was the cause of my grandmother's death. Axle and Scarlett both miss their mother though pretty bad, after all she was their mom regardless of her problem.

When I get downstairs there's a light knock on the back door. Grandpa, dad, and mom are sitting in the kitchen drinking coffee.

"I got it." I mumble tiredly.

I open up the door and Axle's standing there with his hands shoved in his pocket's he looks upset.

"Hi." I whisper.

"Hi." He says, I move over to let him inside. "Hey." Axle greets the rest of my family everyone says hi to him he turns back to look at me.

"So um my dad being the jackass that he is, want's to move Scarlett away thought I'd come warn you because she didn't want to tell you herself and I knew you'd want to say goodbye." He whispers his eyes hold an unbearable amount of defeat and devastation.

"What?! He can't do that she'll be eighteen in like four months what's the point!" I yell angrily.

"Look I know that okay and I fought with him on it I even tried contacting this lawyer but he said there wasn't shit I could do about it I'm just her brother not to fucking mention my background. I'm so sorry Addi if I could do something ANYTHING I'd do it. She's leaving tomorrow I can't-" He cuts off and looks away.

I look at dad and mom raising my eyebrows. "Please." I whisper.

Dad sighs and shrugs. "Sure pumpkin." He says.

Dad grabs his cell phone putting it to his ear and walking out of the kitchen. I walk toward's Axle and wrap my arms around his waist. He wraps his arms around my shoulders and kisses my head. "What's your dad doing? It's not worth arguing with my dad about." He whispers.

"He's calling my uncle Armando." I whisper. "He's a really good lawyer."

"I already tried that." Ax points out.

"Well hopefully the lawyer you talked to is an idiot." I grumble.

Dad walks back into the kitchen. "Since she's four months from eighteen she can be emancipated, Armando is calling the judge now to explain the situation."

I beam at Axle. "See an idiot." I tell him.

He laughs. "Cool um should we go talk to Scar then?"  He asks.

"Yes." I nod.

We head out of the house and get into his car, he pulls out of the driveway and head's down Nine Mile Road.

************

"Really?" Scarlett asks hopeful.

"Yeah." I nod.

Tears begin rolling down her face. "I love you." She laughs.

"I love you too Scar." I tell her and hug her tightly.

My phone begin's to ring I check the Caller ID it's my dad.

"Uncle Armando's here you three get over here we got some shit to settle." Dad says.

"Okay daddy we'll be there soon." I tell him.

I grab Scarlett's hand in mine and pull her toward's the door. When we get downstairs Axle's in the living room looking at some mail.
