The street was quiet save for one voice, wailing with the loss of a friend. There on the sidewalk lay Kim Seokjin, bloody and lifeless in the arms of his junior, Park Jimin.
Jimin didn't know how this could happen. They had been out for a peaceful night as they had done many times before, to share their feelings and help each other through the difficulties life brought them. He hadn't expected something like this. No one would.
Seokjin wouldn't be the last victim. Unbeknownst to Jimin, this would become a common reoccurrence. One by one, everyone he loved would be torn from his side. Someone wanted to torture him, make him miserable.
Jimin cradled his senior's torso and screamed in agony, rocking Seokjin back and forth and pulling the knife from Seokin's chest with a sickening squelch, blood oozing from the gaping hole. "Help! Somebody help!"
People poured onto the street, leaving their homes to see what the commotion was about. Then they saw it. Someone screamed, someone threw up, someone fainted, someone called for an ambulance. Everything was so dizzying. Jimin just wanted to get his friend back but it was too late. He was gone. No one could bring him back now. There was so much blood. It soaked Jimin's clothes and pooled on the floor.
Jimin shut Seokjin's eyelids as the ambulance arrived. He watched in shock as Seokjin was taken away in an ambulance. The paramedics were asking him so many questions but it all sounded so muffled, so far away as if they were standing on opposite ends of a tunnel. He felt a hand on his shoulder and the haze snapped away. "Is there anyone we can call?"
"We have," the realization hit him. Jin didn't have anything anymore, he had simply had things now. "I have some friends who should know." Tears welled in his eyes, blurring his vision until all he could see was splotches of red and blue from the lights of the police cars. "I have their phone numbers." His speech was halting and shaky.
"Can you give us their names."
"Kim Namjoon, Min Yoongi, Jung Hoseok, Kim Taehyung, and Jeon Jungkook."
