She just couldn't get the hang of it as she busted through the doors and past her parents. In fury, she ripped the hairband off her maroon-striked black hair before falling face flat on her queen size bed. Closing her midnight blue eyes, she tried clearing the memories that ran wild through her brain to no avail. She wanted to curse, scream, screech, throw tantrums and do all sorts of acts agitated people did...but was that how her mother dearest had brought her up.If her mother were to hear the cause of her angry mood, she'd call her all names dubbed on the low class people. But to her, that anger was justified. She had had all the rights to get worked up,that had been her last chance at getting a good start in singing but the goddamn new manager had to call and say how much he needed 'musicians, voices, substance and not spoilt wannabes who would cry at lost Beca lipstick'his exact words...that's exactly what she had done the minute he cancelled all their voice's worth. What angered her most was how that asshole of a man had commanded the audition without his own need of being there, through a damn phone call.
'How many times am I
gonna have to yell your
name,Missy?!!!'at the door stood her mother, hands akimbo and a mad look,Riley herself could never manage to pull even when her life depended on it.
'Am not in the mood for this
,ma...I had one hell of a
shitty day and I just wanna
get some rest.So please lock
the door after you.'she knew the consequences of talking that way to her mother but as she entered the mickey mouse covers she could care less.Minutes passed,Riley took a deep breath only to have the covers pulled from her body and her mother staring more of glaring at her from her bedpost
'What in heaven's name
gave you the right to think
you can talk back at
me,young girl'she asked in the most sweetest voice, through gritted teeth obviously
'Get up,you are coming
with me to the winter
musical!'no buts cause it's
not like you did any better
work in being an active
participant in the
auditions!!'she muttered furiously exiting the room but not before I heard her mutter 'just as I thought'.Rolling her eyes, got up,no need arguing with mother dearest.
