you won't be seeing the oc for the first chapter or two.... and yes lowercase is intentional in certain cases like the titles, povs and author's notes.

mal's pov:

"Once upon a time, long, long ago... well, more like 20 years ago... Belle married her Beast in front of 6000 of their closest personal friends. Big cake. Yeah, so instead of a honeymoon, Beast united all of the kingdoms and got himself elected king of the United States of Auradon. He rounded up all the villains and sidekicks... basically all the really interesting people... and he booted them off to the isle of the lost with a magical barrier to keep them there. This is my hood.  No magic. No wi-fi. No way out. Or so I thought. Hang on, you're about to meet us. But first this happened."

3rd person:

In Auradon, where prince Ben is getting a fitting, his parents walk in the room. "Sleeve. Head. Ah-ha!" said the tailor.  The Beast acknowledged his son "How is it possible that you're going to be crowned king next month? You're just a baby!" Ben's mother replied "He's turning 16, dear.". Ben decided it was time to cut in and said "Hey, pops.". However he was ignored "16? That's far too young to be crowned king. I didn't make a good decision until I was at least 42." Belle was insulted "Uh, you decided to marry me at 28." Beast decided to joke with her "Ah, it was either you or a teapot" Ben laughs and King Beast saw that his wife was even more insulted now so he said "Kidding!" Ben tried to speak again " Mom, dad..." but was cut off by the tailor since he started getting off the small pedestal (i don't know what to call it).  Ben ignored him and kept moving "I've chosen my first proclamation" Beast and Belle looked impressed "I've decided that the children on the isle of the lost be given a chance to live here, in Auradon" His parents looked shocked at the choice "Everytime i look out to the island, I feel like they've been abandoned." Beast was enraged "The children of our sworn enemies, living among us?" Ben tried to calm him down "We start out with a few at first, only the ones who need us the most. I've already chosen them." Beast was still angry "Have you?" Belle decided to help her son out a bit "I gave you a second chance." She turned back to her son "Who are their parents?" Ben started confident, "Cruella De Vil... Jafar... Evil Queen..." but ended up hesitating "and... Maleficent..." Everyone in the room was shocked and the tailor ran out of the room. Beast was once again enraged "Maleficent! She is the worst villain in the land!" Ben plead "Dad! just hear me out here!" Beast didn't give him a chance "I won't hear of it. They are guilty of unspeakable crimes." Ben kept trying to fight for them "Dad, their children are innocent. Don't you think they deserve a shot at a normal life?" His father sighed "I suppose their children are innocent." He started leaving the room but stopping near the  door. "Well, well done." Queen Belle said to her son "Shall we?" She said to king Adam before leaving with him.

that's the end of this chapter because if you guys want brielle (i think that's what i want to name my oc, not sure though) to be evil. if you do she will be singing rotten to the core with the core four but if you want her to be good she will be meeting them when they get to auradon. i don't know what to do yet so please comment what you want to happen in this story (love interest, bad or good, ect.). thanks for reading. see you lovelies.
