2 years ago my parents got divorced. Now I'm on a plane going to my mom's wedding. I've never even met the guy or his son. I can't beleive that my mom has already moved on. My dad told me to come while he works. He's always working now. The only day I see him is Saterday and I only see him for an hour. Finally my plane is landing. After a 5 hour flight we finally touch the ground. Since I was in first class I got to get off first. I walked off the plane and into the airport."Sweetheart!!" my mom exclames as she see me. I run over to her and hold on tight. I know i'm going to be 16 in a few months but i still really depend on my mom. "Come on. We should get out of here. We bought a new house so if you want to stay here in California you can..." My mom said and then looked at me. I smiled and looked at her. "I'll think about it." I told her. She smiled back at me and started to talk about the wedding. we got to the car and I kinda zoned out. All I could think about was what if this new family didn't like me? What did they know of me? "Did you hear me?" my mom asked. I shook my head. "Well it's nice to know that somethings never change. I said Andrew is at work and his son is out so me and you are going to the wedding store to pick out your dress...and I'm guessing you need shoe's too?" she said to me then laughed when I nodded. I smiled at her. I haven't seen her since she moved out here right after the divorce. I am so glad I came. The only bad part is I have to where heels. the dress i don't mind but the heels. No way.
