Change is NEVER good

Chapter 10

Everyone's eyes were on me. I was so uncomfertable. I'm so nervous. Then my eyes met his. Dana. He smiles at me. And I feel an arm around my waist . I look up to see it was David. He smiles down at me and pulls me in for a hug. I'm so happy right know. Then I see him. The only boyfriend I have ever had. The one who cheated on me. He broke my heart. How did he even know where I was? I turn around and run right back up the stairs. I go straight to the room I got ready in and shut the door with tears falling down my face. I can't belive he came. After all he did to me he came back to ruin my whole life.

"Dai!!! Open the door!!!" David called through the door.

"NO!!!" I yell back. I here shuffling outside the door and wispering. Then more suffling. All the noise stops then I hear a light tap on the door.

"It's Dana. Will you please let me in?" He asks. I hesitate for a second then he says.

"I'm alone." I quickly unlock the door and run to hide my face in a pillow on the couch. I here the door open, close and lock. Then someone sits on the couch next to me. I look up to see that Dana really was alone. He had worry plastered all over his face. I burrow my head into his chest and start to sob. He raps his arms around me and pulls me closer to his chest as I cry. Slowly I stop crying and sit up. He looks at me with a question in his eyes. One that he was too afraid to ask outloud.

"I saw my ex Kyle. He cheated on me with this slut from school when I wouldn't give him what he wanted. Then I found out and dumped him. I came here right after I broke up with him. I don't know how he found me but he did." I told him.

"Do you wanna go Back down or do you wanna stay up here?" He asked me. I answered by getting up brushing of my dress and walking to the vanity. I quickly fixed my makeup then turned around to see Dana standing at the door looking nervous.

"What's wrong?" I asked he looked up and smiled at me.

"I know this is a very bad time but will you be my girlfriend?" he asked. I was so shocked that all I could do was nod. He smiled at me and pulled me in for a kiss. I smile aginst his lips. Could this night get any better? He pulled away and held out his arm. I giggled and took it. With that we walked down the stairs arm in arm.
