The young kid sits there on the dining chair; strands of his silky blonde hair fell onto his forehead. His skin pale, eyes blue as if the ocean itself is in them with happiness reflecting in them. His chubby little cheeks are tainted slightly red. With a broad smile plastered across his charming face, he takes the meat from the plate in front of him and takes a bite out of it.
A moan escapes his lips as he chews, the juices dripping down from the corner of his lips. One bite after another, he took big portions in massive chomps. Quite sure that if he could open his mouth much wider, he would put the entire chunk in his mouth all at once.
On the other side of the big, wooden dining table is his beloved mother. Who sat quietly and watched his loving son enjoy his meal in awe. The only thing she wants to see is her son happy and let not even a single bit of sadness wash over him.
No matter how happy she feels, in the back of her mind there is fear. Fear of the world finding out the truth. Even she knows that she cannot keep on going like this forever. But, neither can she make up her mind and face the bitter truth that lay in front of her.
She notices how her son is looking at her with a confused look on his face. She quickly puts on an appealing smile that convinces him nothing is wrong. He gives back a warm smile and gets back into eating.
Very soon he finishes his plate and looks towards his mother with puppy dog eyes. It takes no longer than a second for her to understand what he was going to say.
'More?' her son pleads but she tries to say no.
He looks at her, his eyes begging for just one more piece and it worked. A sigh escapes the mother's rosy lips in defeat as she reaches out her hand for his plate. His eyes instantly light up.
The mother walks back into the kitchen with the plate in her hand. She keeps it on the side, and takes two big, sharp knives and starts to cut a chunk of meat from a man's bloody body with missing limbs that lay by the kitchen counter. Once she's done, she places the piece on the plate and walks to the dining room. Her son gives a big smile to her once she places the plate of a chunk of raw human meat to eat. Without wasting another second, he starts eating. Quickly he finishes and stares at his mother.
'One more, please?'
