As I look outside and see the waves crashing, I'm nervous about the new life I'm about to start.
"Toby calm down, you act like you've never been here before." says Kinsely driving towards our new home. I sigh and look out the window watching the unfamiliar waves, just as I glance away I catch a boy in the corner of my eye surfing as if he was a wave himself.
"Woah.." I say not meaning to but my amazement overcomes me. Kinsely smirks and keeps driving until we stop.
"Why'd you stop?" I say mesmerized by the boy still.
"We're here, maybe you should pay more attention." says Kinsely unbuckling his seat belt. When I look out the front window I see a large open field that smells sweet and a house near a cliff with a rocky death. Looking down just gives me the shivers.
"Hey you gonna help!" says Kinsely holding boxes and walking to the door of our new home.
"I'm comin' I'm comin'." I say running over to the car. The breeze runs through my hair. "Hey Kinsley," I say as he walks out of the house taking in the sweet smell of the waves crashing and breeze going through the empty untouched field. "Is there a barbershop around here."
"Yeah, why? Are you thinking of cutting your hair," he says grabbing some more boxes.
"If you do I recommend -------(haven't come up with a name)"
"It's getting a little dead at the ends, don't you think." I say grabbing a box nervous to walk into the house for the first time. When I walk in, the house resembles a modern but cozy beach house.
"Want some lunch" says Kinsely dropping some boxes in the living room marked LV.
"Sure-" I'm interrupted by my stomach growling and Kinsely's responding in agreement.
"I know just the place" says Kinsely grabbing the last few boxes out of the trunk and locking the house doors. We hop into the car and drive into town.
