In order to tell you the full story I will have to go back to the day it all started, the day when hell got a bit more hellish.
I thought today would have been a normal day, You know; Waking up to souls of the damned wailing and screaming, Going for a walk in the fields of fire. Watching as souls got tortured by noble demons and such. Well as normal as it gets for a demon prince of hell. But little did I know how wrong I was.
I was just getting out of bed when I heard the war horns sounding off in the distance. That sound alone was enough to rouse up a frenzy. I rushed to the hall to find out why we would be under attack, and also to calm everyone else down.
As I entered the hall, I saw that it wasn't a hall anymore. Instead there was a gigantic hole... For a moment it felt like everything had gone silent. Then the ground began to shake beneath my feet, I tried to get away as fast as I could. But before I had a chance to take two steps back, something emerged from the it. Something I've never seen before.
The creature loomed over me and started to snarl. I was paralyzed with fear as its long claws reached closer towards me. "Could this really be how I go out? It can't really end like this, I can't let it!" I thought to myself, fixated on trying to move even just a bit. I felt the claws dig into my skin; crushing bone. Then its mouth opened revealing a pitch blackness, as I reached the inside of its mouth everything went black and silent...
¨How am I not dead? Pitiful, a demon prince, eaten whole... This has to be the most shameful way to go, So just why!? Why me!?" As my rage began to take over green flames started to erupt around me. Before I knew what was going on the flames started to burn the creature from the inside out. I came to and saw I was on the floor surrounded by chards of black ash and half burnt claw from the creature that I thought ate me.
I got up and turned around to a horrific site.....
