For someone like me this is isn't easy

Every time I see you smile

I try not to think about it too deeply

And end up thinking for awhile

Was it too soon -

To say I love you

To say good bye

Is it too soon-

For me to miss you

Is it too soon -

For me to cry

Now everyday I lay here as I wake up

I'm finding it hard to survive

Trying to find what I'm made of

And trying my best to stay alive

I'm not really sure what I'm after

It may take some time to realize

The thoughts in my mind, I need to gather

Before they escape right through my eyes
