They're happy-ever-after Part 4

[SOMEONE'S POV]

(TEN YEARS LATER)

Ever since ella's grandmother and gino's grandmother fought, ella's family migrated to new york. all their written plans were disposed and renewed.

Ella, currently 26 years old, started to work as a general manager for newsprint in new york. before work, she went to the gym. on the locker she was assigned to, she saw a vandal. it says, "life keeps giving me lemons..." ella looked around if there's anyone watching. she took a pen and wrote beside it, "...offer back some lemonade..." she took her bag and smiled as she walked away.

[NEXT DAY]

the day she came back to the gym, she took a peek on the past locker that she used. she asked the lady in charge if she could used the same locker. and since it was available, she was allowed to use it again, "...then add some lemon cakes too!" she got fund of replying to the messages. until there was no more space to fill in the locker door, the last message was from the mysterious person, "do you want to go out together?" ella's heart fluttered. after ten years, it was the only time that her heart pounded faster and faster, she had butterflies in her tummy, and she felt electricity run down through her. she sat on the bench and giggled by her own. she replied, "i'd love too..." 

[ONE WEEK LATER]

A week passed but there wasn't any response. ella came back only to find out that the janitor was already removing the vandals. ella sighed and asked the lady in charge "was there a man who uses the same locker that i use eveytime i come here?" the lady nodded and replied, "yes he also asks for the same locker just like you. he also asked me to give this to you if you come back." the lady handed out a paper. ella started to get motivated again. there was a not saying, "please meet me saturday, exactly 7:00 p.m. at new york's grand central station." ella felt disappointed. because it's already sunday. she's too late. she walked lifelessly away from the gym. she was still holding the note. she didn't realize that she was going to the grand central station. she didn't care. ella simply sat on the staircase and wondered what could have happen if she was there yesterday.

Out of nowhere, a man approached in front of her and said, "life keeps giving you lemons..." ella slowly raised her head. she was surprised. the man offered his hand and added, "will you go out with me, ella..." ella's tears started to flow. she spoke softly, "gino.." the man was gino all along. i guess no matter how much life had pulled you apart and had handed you lemons, destiny will push you back together and hand you lemonade. gino and ella kissed at the grand central station...happily...
