On the morning of 17th December, the huge Walgreen estate was swarming with policemen as they looked into the mysterious death of Mr and Mrs Walgreen that happened the night before.
Officer Ryder contemplated what might have happened. There were no external marks or any indication of poisoning. 'I want their phone records for the past 2 months', Ryder said.
A few hours later, Officer Ryder was perusing the couple's call records. Nothing seemed out of the ordinary, except for the last call received by Mrs. Walgreen. The number was registered in the name of Hazel Walgreen, the late daughter of the elite couple, who'd died in a car accident, few years ago.
Just then, one of the junior officers called out to Ryder, 'Officer, you might want to take a look at this!'

The grandfather clock struck 8 as the Walgreens took their places at the ornate dining table. Just as their butler, Hutchers, began serving their Mediterranean salad, Mrs. Walgreen's personal phone rang. Unaware of the tumultuous events that would unfold if she answered, she treated it just like any other socialite and wife of a millionaire would. She answered with a courteous hello. However, the voice on the other end startled her and she appeared extremely flustered throughout the one sided conversation.
Right after that call, she spoke to her puzzled husband, 'Hazel's back. And this time, she wants to set things right. For good.' Dinner was abruptly dismissed and Mr and Mrs Walgreen retreated to their room. That was the last time anyone saw the couple alive.

'So, what your mother says, is it true?' Athrur Walgreen asked his daughter, Hazel.
'Could you be more specific?' she smirked, hands crossed defiantly across her chest.
'Are you going to the police about our side business?'
'Unless you shut it down, I will. Those drugs you sell, they're ruining lives, dad. I have witnessed its horrific effects on my friends.
Arthur turned to his wife, and Hazel took this as her cue to leave.
That night, when Hazel went out for a drive, the brakes on her brand new car mysteriously failed, and she was brought home, dead. But then, her parents didn't seem very fazed.

Officer Ryder stood up from his desk as his junior called out to him.
'The team that swept the Walgreen residence has just returned with evidence of large quantities of illegal drugs being stored in their house, Officer' he said.
'Erase all the evidence' he replied simply. Ryder was loyal to the generous check that had found his way from the Walgreens for many months now. Just because they were dead, he wasn't going to dishonor his commitment.
Unknown to Ryder, a ghostly figure watched over him. 'ONE MORE person's blood on my hands' Hazel sighed. She would now have to plan ONE MORE mysterious death for ONE MORE act of injustice!
