i'm on my way to the university. i need to adjust myself. i'm not used to their environment.(?)

"class, let's welcome the new student. park chaeyoung. she came from australia but she moved here in korea. would you like to introduce yourself, park chaeyoung?" the professor said.
i hummed in response. "hello everyone! i'm park chaeyoung and i am 17 years old. i like to sing,dance,play guitar and etc." i said with a smile.
"okay, you may sit down. you can sit beside jeon jungkook." the professor said. there's a lot of vacant seats at the back. i was really confused. i guess the professor noticed my expression.
"jeon jungkook! wake up you bast*rd. it's the first day of school and you are slacking off?" the professor said, he is clearly annoyed with the boy.
the boy raised his head and bowed. i came to the seat beside him and placed myself comfortably. "hi, my name is park chaeyoung. you can call me rosie." i said. he scoffed, "i don't care."
"what's your name again?" i asked ignoring his blunt attitude. "jeon jungkook." he coldly said.
"ohh, nice name you got there. nice to meet you!" i offered my hand like to do the handshake, you know? he stared at my hand and slapped it.
i frowned and just listened to the professor. it seems like someone is staring at me. i looked at jungkook. "why is he staring at me?" i thought to myself.
"heck, i wasn't staring at you." he said. i'm confused, wait did i just said it out loud?
"yes, you did chaeng." jungkook said. "chaeng?" i asked. "what? it's cute though." he said with an arrogant smile.

it's now lunch time and i don't know where to sit. "chaeyoung, right?" someone asked me. i hummed in response.
"sit with me. i don't have friends too. we're just the same haha." she laughed. "okay." i smiled to her. "but, what's your name?" i asked. "my name is kim jisoo." she smiled to me.
"nice name." i said with a smile. "i got something to tell you." she said with a serious look. "what is it?" i raised my eyebrows.
"did you know that jeon jungkook is a playboy?" she asked. "i didn't know. is he that bad? i even talked to him earlier." i said.
"you are confused as i am. you should distance yourself to him." jisoo said.
"how can i? we are seatmates and you know." i said. "just ignore him. don't you dare fall into his tricks, okay?" jisoo said with a worried expression.
the bell rang and i was preparing myself to go to next subject. "wait! i think we have the same subject. from now on, we will be best friends, okay? i would protect you no matter what happens." she said with a smile. "okay! thank you! let's gooo." i said.
