Dear Self,
I don't know anymore.
"This'll look good on you, Hal," Percy holds out a cute, red and yellow blouse.
"You're making her look like McDonald," Penny narrows her eyes, definitely not enjoying her brother's presence.
Haley does nothing, but giggle at them both. Percy smiles at her.
Penny, feeling like a third-wheel, cringes at Percy. "Han, stop staring at my baby. Are you pedophile or something?"
Percy rolls his eyes. "She's your age. She ain't a baby."
"Still doesn't make you look less creepy," she begins to cross her arms.
"You're just jealous, Peanut," he does the same.
Penny gasps. "Huh! As if. You're the one who's jealous."
"Excuse me? Would you please start saying facts?"
"Who's the one that came with me because Haley was here?"
"...uh...guys..." Haley says.
"Oh, now I get it," Percy nods, ignoring Haley. "You're mad that I came. Of course!"
"Seriously? Is there not a better reason you can come up with?" Penny steps closer.
"Grow up, Chara! Your brother just wants to come with ya."
"No. My brother came because he wants to see Haley!"
"Listen to yourself! You want Haley all for yourself," Percy steps closer.
"You want Haley yourself!"
"What does that even mean?"
"I mean, you're in love with Haley!"
It was silent. Percy heats up. No one knew if it was because of embarrassment or anger.
Percy looks at Haley, who flinches at his glance. "Uh..." she fidgets.
Only then, Percy starts to calm down. "I'm n-not."
"Oh? Not what?" Penny pushes it.
"I'm not in love with her," he narrows his eyes.
A few moments of silence has passed before a staff coughs. "Excuse me, miss, sir. But you both are causing a scene here, and one of our customers has already complained. My apologies, but I will ask you both to leave. Please," the lady stays calm as possible.
Penny looks down. "I'm going."
"Ara..." Haley tries to grab her wrist, but decides that it's best to give her space.
"H-hey, I'll go ahead," Percy rubs the back of his head. Haley nods.
After they both left, Haley stays blank. "W-wait, I don't know how to talk to strangers," she throws her hands on both sides of her head. "How am I going to buy my clothes?" she mumbles to herself, while taking glances on the cashier.
"Come on," Percy pushes the cart with his head still down.
"Percy...thank you," Haley smiles.
Percy's eyes widen, then a warm smile creeps on his face. "No problem."
Awwwww, I'm shipping my own characters. Of course.
Anyways, this chapter is very short. But I decided to leave it here for a good reason.
Can anyone guess?
Nah, I'm not going to wait for your answers.
It's 'cuz I'm making the next chapter in Percy's perspective! You heard me. It's going to be a first-person chapter. Enjoy it while it lasts.
Oh, and what're the ship names? Hmmm...
Comment what you think, guys! And don't forget to vote.
Sweet dreams, but don't eat them!
I can literally say that all the time because I always finish at night (eyebags for life)...
