y/n pov
after our mini date, jeno offered to walk me home and i agreed to it. we we're walking side by side, hands brushing against each other.
i was about to put them in my pockets but he was faster then me and clasped our fingers together. i took a peep at his reaction and there was a fade blush on cheeks but he was still walking normally. i look at our hands and can't stop smiling about it.
we finally arrived at our destination and it was time to let go. "uhm..thanks for today jeno..i had lots of fun..hope we can hang out more" i smile at the boy. i tried letting go of his hands but he grabs them tighter and pulled me into his embrace. right now i think im in heaven.
without thinking too, i hugged him tighter and not wishing it will be over. slowly he removed his arms around me and hold my hands, looking at me in the eyes.
"j-jeno" he put his finger onto my mouth, signalling me to be quiet. "y/n-ah..i have something to say. please hear it out" he whispered. i was to flustered by his soothing voice and could only nod my head.
"listen..i know about you liking jaemin and stuff but this feeling deep in my heart has to let go. i can't hold it anymore. the way you look at him sadly, crying over him, being a mess around him hurts me. yes this" he pointed at his chest, "hurts so bad. its driving me insane. y/n cant you see he is not worthy for you. stop wasting your tears on him..." at this point he was tearing up and i couldn't help but cry too.
"and lastly, y/n i t-think im in love with you..it's okay if you're not feeling the same way but i just need you to hear that out. i-m sorry if-" before he could even end his sentence, i cut him off by kissing his lips. "shut up jeno. i love you too" he was stunned as i kissed him again but replied the kiss afterwards.
his lips was soft and i fell in love with it. i wrapped my arms around him as he placed his arms on my waist pulling me closer to him. we let go of each other as we breathe in for air, admiring each others gaze. i was madly blushing and burry myself in his chest.
i heard him giggle as he stroke my hair, patting it softly. i look into his eyes and immediately looked straight to the ground. wow the ground is pretty tonight.
" so..what are we right now.." i mumbled. he chuckles and lift up my chin, "y/n, do you want to be my girlfriend?" he smile. "yes. yes i do lee jeno" i burst into tears again as he confessed to me. finally someone who loves and appreciates me. i couldn't help but to feel guilty after all this time i focused on jaemin instead of him. it must have hurt him a lot
"y-yah! why are you crying??" he panicked. "i-m sorry for hurting you jeno..im sorry for liking jaemin and not you..im sorry for focusing on him more than you..im so-"
he peck me on the lips to shut me up. "it's okay baby..now you're mine and i understand it but it's in the past okay? let's move on" he say softly.
"alright. you should get going it's getting late" i said to him. "okay..take care baby~" he cooed and kissed my forehead. "you too" i giggle. "i love youu!!~" he shout while shooting finger hearts at me. "i love you more!!" i laughed at him when he nearly tripped over a rock. still my dumb jeno.
i can finally feel love even if it's not the person i wanted but it's the person i needed the most, lee jeno thank you for everything.

na jaemin..even though i thought i had a chance with you, im still glad that i became your admirer because of you, i met an amazing person which is my boyfriend now. thank you na jaemin.
