"He didn't survive."

"I'm going to college!"

"Today's the day."

"Mom.. It's going to be alright.." I told her when we both knew she wasn't alright. 

"I promise i'll call, every single time I have the chance to.

All I could hear was her sobs, making me want to cry aswell. "Mom.. Stop crying, i'll cry too. I'm an ugly crier." I smiled.

She embraced me in a huge hug, and sobbed onto my shoulder. I pulled away and looked into her eyes. She kissed my forehead. "I'll miss you.." She told me. 

"I know.. I'll forever be with you. I promise you i'll always call you. I promise i'll be okay." I assured her. 

She nodded, and embraced me in a hug one last time.

"Flight 234 is now boarding." The loud, booming announcer person said as my mom looked up into my eyes.

"Sweetie, be safe. Call me when you land." She told me. I nodded and turned around and started walking to my station.

This is it. I'm moving to L.A for college.
