Prologue

The parking lot at our high school was super crowded and the students were all jittery. I couldn't help but wonder why. I mean I know some of them are stupid but damn, this is just crazy even for them.

"Jason's here." My best friend, Elizabeth announced. She was about five foot with raven black hair and green eyes.

"I could care less." I replied as we stepped out of the car. Jason Alexander was the star football player at our school, and also would be taking the Alpha title from his father soon. The girls here go crazy fan chick over him, I cant see why. He's such a player.

"Alexandria," Elizabeth called while waving her hands in front if my face.

"Yeah Liz?"

"I said he's coming over here as we speak." I looked over her shoulder and there he was. He walked over to us and hugged Liz, the he started gawking at me.

"Do you need something Jason?" I snapped, why the hell was he staring at me like that? Liz told me not to be rude and I bowed my head in respect. If my father saw my behavior towards our future alpha he would have a fit. Liz apologized for my behavior and tried walking away from the pair. However my plan didn't work so well as it caused me to bump into Jason. As soon as my skin got in contact with his tingles shot up my arm. My wolf howled happily as I looked up at Jason shocked.

"Mine." He growled and pulled me into his arms. Okay did he just say mine? Does that mean he's my...

"You're my mate." I said scrunching up my gave in disgust. No freaking way was he my mate, he's slept with more than half of the girls here. The Goddess wouldn't have been so cruel as to choose him for me.

"I've got to go, I'm feeling ill." Pulling away from him I went to go find my boyfriend. He was standing by the double doors waiting for me. Concern filled his face when he saw me.

"Babe, what's wrong?" I ran into his arms. I'll have to break up with him now that I've found my mate.

"I've found my mate." I stated once I found my voice. He kissed me and looked down at me with a pained look. Then told me that it was a great thing that I found my mate and asked me why I was upset.

"It's Jason." Daniel pulled away from me. Jason was his best friend and he was going to be Jason's beta. He bowed his head in respect for me.

"Luna."

"Daniel cut that out, I'm still yours."

"If Jason is your mate you have to go with him."

"I dont have to do shit. We'll be together and you'll mark me like we planned! "

"I cant keep you from your mate, I wont be responsible for breaking the bond between two mates." I got up on my tippy toes and kissed him just because I knew this was our last kiss. All of a sudden there was a loud growl coming from behind us. I didn't have to turn around to know who it was. Jason ordered me to come to him and so I did. He pushed me behind him and glared at his beat friend.

"What the hell Daniel?!"

"Jason she just told me I swear."

"You knew she was my mate and you still kissed her?"

"She kissed me." Jason turned around to look at me and his face softened when he saw that I was afraid.

"You kissed him?" I nodded and hung my head down. "You can leave Daniel, I need to speak with her in private. " I flinched at his tone and told Daniel I loved him ans he told me back. Jason growled and dragged me to his car and opened the passenger door for me. In...now!" My wolf whimpered because she didn't appreciate him using his alpha tone with her.

"Sorry, just please get in."

We were driving for about half an hour before we pulled up at a massive house in the woods. The outside wasn't the usual red brick, instead there was grey stone.

"Happy Birthday Jason." When I said that his head snapped up. The look he was giving me scared me. And he was obviously still upset because his usually light blue eyes were now a dark ocean blue, which is better than the deep shade of black they were during the drive, but still bad.

"Thank you." He said through gritted teeth. Okay his attitude was really starting to piss me off. Is he on his period or something?

" What the hell are you so upset about?" He clenched his jaw and closed his eyes taking a deep breath.

When the door to the house opened my Jaw dropped. The house was beautiful. When I told him I got the same response as when I had told him Happy Birthday.

"Okay, wanna tell me why you hate me so much?" He led me to sit on one of the couches in the massive living room.

"Look, I'm sorry about losing it earlier and scaring you. And I'm really sorry for using my Alpha Command on you. Please dont be afraid of me, I wont ever hurt you." I nodded, not trusting my voice.

"I'm I'm a relationship with Daniel, I love him."

"I know."

"So you'll let me be with him?" Jason looked at me like I had three heads and then started laughing.

"You're joking right?" I gave him a death glare.

"I'm deadly serious. Daniel is going to mark me and we'll be together. " I looked at him just in time to see his eyes darken. He pinned my hands above my head and looked into my eyes.

"Listen to me and listen good Alexandria, you are mine and mine only. You will carry MY pups and only have MY mark on your skin. You ate the future Luna of this pack and Daniel will be your beta, nothing else. I am your mate and Alpha so you you will listen to me when I say this, you ate to cut all ties with Daniel and never be with him without my knowledge. Understood?" I nodded and he shanked me. "Answer me, I asked you if you understand."

"Yes alpha, I understand," he gave a sigh of relief. "but Daniel and I had a very physical relationship, does that have to stop as well?" A very angry Jason looked back at me and I smirked. Daniel and I never had sex. My smirk only lasted about fine seconds until I noticed he was shaking uncontrollably. Shit! What the hell am I supposed to do now, he's about to shift. Think Alexandria, you can do this. Got it!

I started to fake cry and he stopped shaking. 'Yes!' I thought and put on my best frightened face.

"Alexandria, what's wrong?"

"You're scaring me." I said quietly and his eyes lightened to their usual shade of blue.

"Don't be afraid of me, I'm never going to hurt you. You're my mate, I'm here to protect you not hurt you." He said nuzzling his head in my neck and I felt his body relax.

"Only mates can calm each other down."

"I know."

"You have the most amazing scent ever, like Rosemary oil and lilac.

"Thank you." I said and I could tell I was blushing deep red. He smirked and turned us over so all my weight was on him. Since he still had my hands my face was about an inch from his. He was excited about our position, I could feel it. Before I could hold it in I moaned softly. As soon as I did he brought mybhead down to his and kissed me hard. Tingles shot through my entire body and they felt amazing.

"Jason." I said as we both pulled away breathless. His lips were red and swollen and I could tell mine were too. His thumb slowly traced my bottom lip and I layed on his chest trying to even out my breathing. Maybe being his mate wont be so bad.
