All over again

Chapter 28

Katie's POV
I woke up on the couch to my phone buzzing. I checked it and saw texts from my mom.

Mom:
Good morning honey. I don't want to panick you but your dad is in hospital, everything is okay. He broke his leg when he were going to carry a box upstairs. Please come to USA so we can see you.

Love mom

A tear rolled down my cheek but I wiped it away. I need to tell the others and leave but I don't know for how long but I think forever. I need to take care for my mom and dad now.

"Morning Katie" Maggie said sitting down beside me with breakfast for both of us.

"Morning and thank you" I said smiling. I need to tell her now but how.

"I need to tell you something but I want to do it while the boys are here too" I said calm and trying not to cry.

She nodded and texted James to tell them to come over.

We live together all the boys and Maggie and I but the boys also have their own apartments.

"They are coming over in 10 minutes" she said jumping up from the couch to get changed. I followed her upstairs to my room and got changed into something casual.

I heard a knock on the door and walked down to open. Maggie sat already on the couch and the boys followed me to the living room.

"So I have something to tell you" I said looking down on my feet.

"What's wrong?" Tristan asked furrowing his eyebrows in confusion.

"My mom texted me earlier and told me that my dad is in hospital..." I said a tear running down my cheek. Brad came up to me and hugged me.

"That's not everything. My mom and dad wants to see me soon as possible... and" I tried to tell them but the tears came. I started to cry and fell to my knees.

"Katie it's okay" Maggie said rubbing my back.

I wiped away all my tears and stood up again holding Brads hand.

"They live in USA so I'm going to visit them but they need me so I think I'm going to move in with them..." I said looking down. I couldn't look at their faces and see their reactions.

"Are you going to leave me" Brad asked stuttering. I looked up at him and saw tears in his eyes.

"Brad, I don't want to but I need to. They need me. My dad broke his leg and mom need someone to take care of both of them. My dad is okay but you never know when something worse can happen" I said wiping away his tears.

He let go of my hand and walked out the door. I couldn't take it so I fell on my knees and cried so hard.

"Don't cry. We are here and he is just upset" Maggie said trying to reassuring me that everything will be okay. She rubbed my back and hugged me.

"I'm going to talk to him" Tristan said leaving the house.

Brad's POV
I can't believe she's going to leave us. I love her but she clearly doesn't love me enough to stay. I understand what she needs to do but think about us. We are her friends and I'm her boyfriend. I don't want her to leave, I don't want to break up with her, and I just can't bare to see her with some other guy that aren't me.

I could hear footsteps coming closer to me. I felt a hand on my shoulder.

"Come back. She needs you too. She broke down after you left, she doesn't know what to do and either do you" Tristan said. I just nodded and followed him back.

Before we walked inside I stopped.

"I need some time alone" I said turning around and walked home.

"Mate! Come back!" I could hear Tristan shout after me but I didn't care.

I walked and didn't stop before I was outside my apartment. I locked myself inside and got met by Jesse my dog.

Tristan's POV
"He need some time alone so he went home" I said when I came inside the house and saw them sitting on the couch. Katie was fast asleep so I sat down quietly so I didn't wake her up.

"So what happened here?" I asked looking at Maggie who had a sleeping Katie resting on her shoulder.

"She's okay but not fully okay. She misses him as much as he misses her" Maggie said whispering.

"Did she tell you what she's going to do?" I whispered.

The boys and Maggie shocked their heads. James, Connor and I decided to sleepover so Maggie won't be alone with Katie.
