A Change of Plans

(The girls are at Christian's house.)

Aurora: I hope they don't get in trouble.

Liberty: Yeah, hopefully Keisha and Walter really didn't mean it.

(Christian walks into the room looking sad.)

Bobbi: What's wrong?

Christian: My mom said I can't go to the hotel.

Bobbi: Why not?

Christian: Because they're a group of teenage boys. She thinks something is gonna happen and I'm gonna either get raped or have sex without a condom. She treats me like I'm 5. I know right from wrong. She's being unfair.

Aurora: She's just concerned and she has every right to be. Plus, she hasn't met Roc personally.

Liberty: What if they came over here?

Bobbi: Yeah. That way she can supervise us and get to meet Roc and MB.

Christian: Okay, I'll ask her.

(with Christian and her mom (Ms. Jones))

Christian: Mom?

Ms. Jones: Yeah.

Christian: Can they come over here?

Ms. Jones: I don't think that's a good idea.

Christian: Why not? This way you can supervise and meet Roc. I promise we'll be on our best behavior.

Ms. Jones: I'm sorry, but I have to work late.

Christian: Oh.

Ms. Jones: But I'll tell you what-- If one of the girls' mothers says they can stay and agree to supervise, then they can come over.

Christian: (screams) Oh my God! Thank you!

Ms. Jones: (laughs) Don't thank me yet.

(walks back to the room the girls are in)

Christian: She said yes.

Aurora: We heard.

Christian: But we have to ask one of your moms.

Bobbi: Why?

Christian: She has to work late.

Aurora: Okay. I'll tell my mom.

Liberty: You don't have to ask?

Aurora: No. Since I'm 18, she lets me have my freedom to make my own decisions as long as I follow her rules.

Christian: Okay, let me pack my bags and we can go to your house.

Bobbi: Can you take Liberty and me to our house?

Aurora: Sure.

(Princeton calls Liberty)

Liberty: Hello?

Prince: Hey. So did y'all ask your moms?

Liberty: Yeah, but there's a change of plans.

Prince: What?

Liberty: Christian's mom said she couldn't come--

Prince: What? Why not?

Liberty: She didn't want anything innapropriate to happen. But, she said that y'all could come over to Aurora's house and she'll pick her up in the morning so she could meet Roc.

Prince: Oh. True. Okay, I'll tell the boys.

Liberty: Y'all don't have anything to do tomorrow, do you?

Prince: No. We have 2 weeks of vacation.

Liberty: Is EJ staying down here or back to Detroit?

Prince: I think he's staying here.

Liberty: Oh. Well, after me and Bobbi get our stuff and go to Aurora's house, we're gonna go to the meet and greet.

Prince: Okay, see ya later.

Liberty: Alright, bye. (hangs up)
