We took a cab up to Manhattan but so far thats all I know about tonight's evening. I always hated surprises but i didnt want to ruin the moment.
"You okay, love?" Zayn looked at me with a worried expression.
"Yeah, Im good. I just remember while I was fifteen or sixteen I used to come to Central Park with my mom and just sit there. Sometimes I would write stupid love songs and then one day I decided to dance. So I brought my IPod and speakers. I set it down somewhere and just started dancing. By the time I was done I had drawn a crowd I had no idea was there. It was like I was in my own little world. I had started dancing when I was three but stopped cause... cause something happened. I had totally forgotten the felling. After that I went there everyday."
"You said you 'used to'. You dont do that anymore?" He actually looked interested in what I was talking about. Most guys would just be like 'oh that sucks' or 'thats rough'.
"No. I guess im too busy with Julliard, work, family. Theres just not enough time in the day so I dance. If i have a problem the studio is my solution. I just wish I could just sit and think."
"We're here." The cab driver said anxouisly. Jeez, its not like he had places to be.
After Zayn paid he opened my door.
"You coming, Jane?" He was a few feet in front of me holding out his hand.
"Coming." As i got out the cab i looked at the place we arrived at. Damn.
"Welcome to The Red Dragon. Your table is right this way." As the greeter lead us to our table I coldnt help but notice everyone else waiting in the lobby. Small children running and parents running after them telling them to calm down. And thats when I saw it.The roof of the building look like the inside of the church in The Vatican City. Completely marble with a painting of what looks to be Aphrodite. She looked beautiful as always but had a look of despair. She was looking down on her temple. When I looked to see what she saw I could only gawk. A young girl was running from the god of the oceans, Posiedon. It looked as if she was afraid of him. Like he was going to kill her. But when I looked at him, he seemed calm and collected.
Wierd.
"We made sure your table was in a private area so you wouldnt be interupted. Here are your menu's and your server will be right with you." We sat at a smaller version of a semi circle. With me on one side and Zayn on the other.
I really hope this date goes well cause if not I straightened my hair for nothing.
"Wait. So, you mean to tell me your a international pop-sensation on the rise on tour with your four best friends because you lost a singing competition but THE Simon Cowell ddidnt want your talent to go to waste and signed you anyway?"
"Yeah. Pretty much. By the way, you are handeling this so much better than my mother. She almost fainted when she found out I made it through." He laughed at the memory but me... not such as a giggle. He had to be making this up. We had been playing twenty-one questions when the food arrived. He ordered chicken stir fry and me orange chicken with lo-mein.
" And you said your band name was what?" I needed proof that this guy wasnt lying.
"One direction. Feel free to look it up. But I get to ask you a question next."
How could he be so calm? When I go to the grocery store and find out they are out of vanilla coffee creamer. I Flip Shit.
I took out my IPhone 3 and Googgled 'One Direction'
'One Direction: The New Beatles? Could One Direction be the next big thing?'
'The New Teen Craze. Could new british-irish boyband be bumping Justin Bieber out of the water?'
