Jealously

I woke up with my head in Shawns lap as he lightly snored. It was adorable, he looked so calm and peaceful. I slowly got up not wanting to wake him, "Don't go." Shawn said in his morning grabbing my hand just as I was about to walk away. "I have to go get cleaned up." I said covering my face that was now probably a wreck. "no you look beautiful in the morning." He said pulling me back down. He laid more comfortably this time as his arm laid over me. We laid there until there was a knock on the door, I got up opening the door. "Hey Ev." Camilia said with Jack standing behind her as I opened the door. She looked as if she were about to cry. "omg come in." I said wrapping my arm around her shoulder. She stepped inside and as soon as she saw Shawn she looked at me wide eyed. "I'll talk to you about that later but right now we need to find Libby." She said. "what do you mean." I asked. "I was walking Libby this morning and her leash clasp broke then she ran off." Jack said looking at me. He then looked over at Shawn then back at me. "Hey bro." He said to Shawn faking a smile. Shawn got up putting his shoes on. "you need any help with the search?" Shawn asked. "nahh you've helped enough we just need Ev and Dominique." Jack said looking at his sister. Dominique got up tiredly and so did Matt. "okay well I'll see you guys later then." Shawn said kissing me quickly before leaving with  Matt. We split in two groups of two and unfortunately and predictably I was stuck with Jack. We walked down the sidewalk calling Libby's name. "so are you and Shawn a thing now?" Jack asked stopping. "I'm not sure ye- wait why am I talking to you about this." I scoffed rolling my eyes continuing to walk. "I'm just trying to make conversation." He said walking  beside me. "okay then who's that redhead you were with the other day?" I asked getting mad. "Tiffany." He simply answered. "so you guys are together?" I asked. "It depends. why are you jealous?" He said chuckling. "no I have my own relationship to worry about which isn't really official but you know what I mean." I said rambling on stupidly.

-Jack Pov-

I stood watching Evelyn ramble on. It's so hard to not tell her or anyone my feelings. Tiffany was just a distraction so maybe I'd get over Ev but its making it worse. "I just don't really know what to do about it." Evelyn said. "wait what? sorry I zoned out." I said looking down at her. "Shawn." She simply answered. "Can you just not talk about him." I said annoyed. "Why are you jealous, I mean your the one who left me hanging." She said "No." I said getting mad when I spotted Libby. "Libby!!!" I called running after her with Evelyn right behind me. "Libbyy!!" She yelled as my dog ran in the other direction. I ran through the park and finally caught Libby and attached her leash. I turned around and Evelyn was gone. I started walking back in the direction I can't from when I saw her standing by a pile of wet grass and mud. She stood with muddy water dripping down her cheek and clothes. "you okay what happened?" I laughed walking towards her. "I slipped but you found Lib so it's all good." She laughed. I stood looking at her watching as she tried to wipe some of the mud off her face. "You missed a spot." I said wiping her chin and cheek area slowly with my thumb. She slowly looked up at me at bit her lip. I put one hand on her lower back and the other on her cheek and kissed her passionately. It felt like we were back to the beginning, but better because now I knew how I felt about her.

-Evelyn Pov-

Jack was standing in front of me looking down at me. He put on hand on my back and the other to my cheek and passionately kissed me. I kissed back craving his kissed but then slowly pulled away turning around and walking as I shook my head. I'm so dumb, I've tried my hardest to avoid him and when he comes around I fall straight into his trap. If he thinks I'm that easy, he's definitely wrong, he can't just take advantage of me like this.
