I stepped out of the blue jeep, the wind sweeping my dark brown hair across my pale face as I slammed the car door shut. The sun was beaming down on us intensely but it was a windy day here in Beacon Hills.

I made my way through the crowded hall ways, Stiles and Scott to my right discussing werewolf antics as usual. Various students brushed past us, complaining about the little blemishes in life. At the far end of the corridor stood Isaac Lahey, minding his own business as he does every other day, kind of like a routine. I never quite understood why he was always single or why he had no friends at that matter. In the few times that I have spoken to him he has always been extremely friendly, plus he’s really good looking if anyone has ever noticed.

‘’Sis, you’re staring at him again. You do realise that, right?’’ said my brother, Stiles, after giving me a light nudge in the ribs.

‘’I wasn’t staring, I was-‘’

‘’Drooling?’’ interjected Scott.

‘’You’re hilarious Scott. A real comedian’’ I joked.

‘’Indeed I am’’ he winked.

‘’Dude! That’s my sister’’ exclaimed Stiles.

‘’Dude, he has Allison’’ I replied laughing ‘’chill out’’

The bell rang signaling class and I said my goodbyes to Stiles and Scott before heading off to chemistry. Scott and Stiles got out of this class, something to do with helping at the library or something along those lines. I wasn’t quite listening.

I made my way into Mr. Harris’ classroom, taking my seat at the back next to my chemistry partner, Jackson. We have an interesting relationship. We dated for a while when he wasn’t dating Lydia. I broke up with him but we’re still great friends. He acts like he’s madly in love with me sometimes but I don’t look past it considering I’m pretty sure him and Lydia are still in love with each other.

‘’Aria, are you in there?’’ asked a voice snapping me out of my thoughts.

‘’Sorry Jackson’’ I mumbled getting comfortable in my seat.

‘’Are you okay? You can talk to me’’ he said rubbing his hand soothingly on my shoulder.

‘’I’m fine. Just some things on my mind, that’s all’’ I said glancing over at Isaac. Jackson followed my glaze and scoffed loudly.

‘’That freak Lahey? You can do so much better than him’’ he boomed. This caught Isaac’s attention and he stared at us with a glum look on his face. I groaned loudly and placed my head in my hands, mumbling ‘whatever’ to Mr. Big Mouth beside me.

‘’Stilinski!’’ hollered Mr. Harris half way through the class making my head shoot up faster than a bullet.

‘’Yes sir?’’ I asked.

‘’Learn to pay attention Miss Stilinski or you’ll turn into your brother, who by the way is currently waiting outside the door for you’’ he said. I got up out of my seat and went outside the classroom to be greeted by that dorky grin that my idiotic brother always seems to be wearing.

‘’What is it Stiles?’’ I questioned impatiently.

‘’Derek, somehow, most likely with his creepy alpha powers, managed to get us out of school and text me to go to his house’’ he rushed in one breath.

‘’That man’’ I grumbled as I accepted my pass from Stiles and slouched back into the classroom.

‘’Here’s my pass to leave’’ I said as I handed it over to Mr. Harris.
