// Nobody's POV //
*Ring*. Emma's alarm went off, she sleepily rubbed her eyes as she hit the snooze button on her alarm. It went off again and Emma groaned getting up. She took her phone of the counter next to her bed and turned on her phone, the bright light blinded Emma as the screen turned on. She set her phone back down on the table and got off her bed and into the bathroom to get ready. She through her hair into a ponytail, a white scrunchie holding it up. She rummaged through her closet for a shirt, she decided on an over sized black hoodie with a white sad face // :( // on it. She put on white ripped jeans & white vans. She sighed grabbing her phone off the tiny table and trugged downstairs. She didn't bother to get anything to eat as she hasn't hungry. She walked out the door.

The twins were already up and getting ready for school, Grayson was finishing his breakfast while Ethan got dressed. Grayson called to his brother "E cmon, im ready to go". No response for about a good 2 seconds before a muffled voice from upstairs called down "alright im coming". Not to long after, Ethan rushed down to his brother. They both walked out the door into Grayson's bronco. And drove off.

James on the other hand, still doing his makeup for the day.
*25 minutes later*
James finished up his makeup and got dressed, he just put on a white shirt, white pants, black shoes & a black sweatshirt over it. James said goodbye to his brother ( a/n Ian ). And walked out.

// Ethan's POV //
Me and my brother arrived at the school, he parked his car and we got out, tossing our backpacks over our shoulders. Me and Grayson didn't have the same first period as eahother so we split up in the morning. I said goodbye to my brother as we went separate ways to our classes. I walked into the classroom to see a new seating chart awaiting me on the board. I always enjoyed new seating charts, it allowed me to get to know new people. I was seated next to a boy named James. I knew the kid since he was in my first period, and we talked here and there but I've never sat next to him. A sat down next to James and smiled at him "hey James". James turned to me "hey sister Ethan" he said smiling back. I wasn't to fond of the nickname he gave me but I didn't really care. The teacher let us talk for a little before she called out to class for our attention to be on her. She seemed somewhat tense as she cleared her throat and explained, "Good morning class. I know this isn't the best way to start out your day but all teachers must tell the students.. We will be having our annual yearly Purge. And if you do not know what the purge is about, its basically where... All crime is legal for 24 hours. Including vandalism, theft, and even murder. So if your planning to stay inside for it, make sure everything is locked up. Stay safe." The teachers eyes flickered around the room for a moment, before going straight into the days lesson.
I was sometimes on edge about the purge, but it tended to let me take out my anger and frustration on other people and not get in trouble about it. Grayson on the other hand- well he stays inside and tries to forget about it. I'm the only one in my family who actually goes out to purge. I'm not psycho but it just feels right to me. I promise I don't have problems.

// Emma's POV //
My teacher just finished talking to us about the annual purge, I don't really care about it. But I mean, all crime is legal for a day? Hell yeah. I can't pass up the opportunity to beat the shit out of someone and not get sent to jouvie, sounds like a score to me. As he continued with the lesson I fiddled with the mechanical pencil in between my fingers, since I was pretty bored. All I could think about was the Purge, honestly sometimes going out on days like these can really give me goodbumps, even though I go out to commit the crimes, I often think about, ike what if somebody kills me? What if I can't find my way back home? What if I can't survive for a whole 24 hours? Those thoughts run around my mind on this day, makes my anxiety shoot through the roof. But that's what you have to deal with when you go out during the Purge.
