Chapter 9

Miley's POV

I decided i needed to buy some food before i could ever actually leave the city,

But then i heard a weird ringing from the bottom of my backpack.

I slung the backpack off my shoulder and set it on the ground to dig through it, towards the bottom in a hidden pocket i found a iPhone 5s,

but it wasnt mine.

I turned it over carefully looking at it trying to find a clue when a small piece of yellow paper slipped off and fluttered to the ground.

I slowly bent down and picked it up trying to read it in the dim lighting.

The note read

Kendall,

If you found this phone that means you obviously need it. We knew this was your favorite backpack and put it in when we knew you were close to being in danger. We're sorry we couldn't be with you but its very important that you follow the instructions we gave you! This isn't a normal phone. Its untraceable, untrackable, water proof, and when the right time comes it will help protect you. It will soon be your best friend. There are instructions on this phone to keep you alive, safe, and healthy! Go through it! It also has all your apps from your old phone! Dispose of your phone so they wont trace you. Burn this note after u heave read it and please! Above all, be very careful! We love you so much!

After processing what the note said i reached inside the outside zipper of my backpack an grabbed a purple lighter and lit the note on fire watching it burn.

I grabbed my phone, my baby! And threw it at the inside of the dumpster as hard as I could so i could make sure that it was completely destroyed.

I grabbed the new slick supposedly hi tech iPhone and slipped it into my back pocket before I grabbed the gun out my backpack made sure the safety was on and slipped it into the waste band of my jeans.

I quickly zipped up my backpack and slung it over my shoulder when that hi tech phone started beeping.

Annoying right?

I grabbed it out of my pocket to be faced with a screen that had a pass code! How was i supposed to know the pass code?!

I tried to think what it would be but came up with nothing.

I thought about the finger print censor but i mean cmon never seen the phone? How would it have mine?

Aw what the heck I'll try it anyway, nothing to lose right?

I quickly put my right thumb on the scanner and it unlocked!

Right to a page with a map and a rout planned out with codes all.

Yay, I get to decipher codes now.

I hit the start button and the screen went from dim to completely lit up before a hologram of a car appeared in front of me.

Woah...didnt see that one coming..

I looked at the car in amazement till a voice started speaking, told me to go to the parking garage on 22nd street and on the 3rd floor I'd find a car, a "very special car" 'ok...' the keys would be inside the front right tire, 'that cant be safe!' i thought to myself, "it is completely safe" 'oh of course it just has to know what im thinking too. Ugh'

I started walking to 22nd street, thank God it was only about 3 mins away from where I was!

I was almost to the parking garage when I heard a bunch of laughing and talking when I looked up i was coming up on a group of boys,

And with my luck that Jacob kid would be one of them.

Anddddd i was right! Ding ding ding! Wheres my prize?!

Cause right there in the back was the one and very unforgettable, Jacob.

You can put down your pitch forks and torches now ha ha ha... Im so sorry i haven't updated! Sooo busy! And I had a fever and migraines for the last couple of days and ugh im so sorry! Butttt GIVE ME FEEDBACK ABOUT WHAT YOU THINK PLEASE!!! im thinking of deleting this story :/ idk if its good .-.
