Autumn

After closing my door, I run over to the mirror and look at myself, trying to see what Brad would've seen. I groan loudly, noticing I've somehow spilt coffee down my jumper, making me look like an idiot.

I then turn my attention the the T-shirt hanging over the chair and shake my head. It looked to ugly and plain to wear to meet and greet now, especially seeing as I'd spent the last ten minutes in the presence of a literal fashion icon.

I grab my purse and my keycard, along with a jacket and step back out into the hallway and step straight into someone walking past.

"Just can't keep away from me, can you?" The voice laughs and I look up to meet Brad's brown orbs.

"Evidently not. Did I hurt you?" I ask, locking my door.

"Not at all." He smiles, leaning against the wall next to my door.

"I'm glad. We need you in one piece for the show tonight." I say, beginning to walk towards the lift.

"We sure do." He says, following behind me.

I stop outside the lift and pull out my phone, messaging Evie to tell her that I was heading to the shops to buy a better outfit before the concert later on.

"Where're you going?" Brad asks, tilting his head downwards to look at me.

"Into town. I need to get a few things before tonight." I push my phone into the back pocket of my jeans and smile up at him and he raises an eyebrow.

"You don't have to get me anything! You've paid enough to meet us." He gushes, and I roll my eyes.

"I'm not." I laugh, stepping into the lift. He follows me and pushes the button for the lobby.

"I know, love." He smiles and my stomach fills with butterflies.

"Where're you going then, curls?" I ask, leaning against the mirror that is fixed to the back wall of the elevator.

"Curls?" He asks and my cheeks redden as he turns to look at me.

"Sorry. I meant Brad." I mumble, my eyes falling to the floor.

"Don't be, I like it." He smiles, pushing his glasses up his nose.

"I'm heading to soundcheck." He continues and I nod, watching as the lift doors open to reveal Joe standing there, his arms folded across his chest and an angry expression adorning his face.

"Brad, you're fifteen minutes late." He states, his eyes flickering between me and Brad.

"Yeah, sorry Joe. I had a quick shower." Brad shrugs and walks past the man, pulling the hood of his hoodie over his head.

Joe looks at me for a moment longer before following Brad outside.

"There you are!" Evie exclaimed, standing up from the sofa in the hotel lobby.

"I texted you." I frown, walking over to the lift.

"Yeah, well, it's 3:10. We agreed to head over to the arena at 3:00." She sighed, folding her arms.
