"I'm at the tea shop near the bus stop. Come quickly!"

Rolling his eyes, he slid his phone in the back pocket of his jeans and grabbed the keys to his apartment and his car and took one last look of himself in the mirror. He grins at his own reflection.

He stopped on his way to the door as he realized he didn't need the keys to his car today. The thing was on repair and would take  another two days to get done.

Bus ride it is.

He walked for about three minutes to the nearest bus stop and sits on one of the chair whilst waiting for the bus that will take him to the tea shop where his friend waits for him. One of the three girls standing to his right caught his eye and gave a shy smile as she tucked several strands of hair behind her ear. He gave a small smile. The girl giggles and started whispering to her two other friends who where now stealing glances at him. He turned to them again and mimed the 'tipping-the-hat' gesture whilst grinning at them. Then they all giggled this time.

He wasn't flirting with them, he was only being nice. Sometimes, having good looks is tiring, especially when you don't want to be rude and don't want to look like you're flirting but your nice smile doesn't look different from your flirting smile.

The bus arrived and the door opens not two seconds after that.

He hopped on the bus hoping the three girls weren't gonna be on the same ride, then he heard giggles. Sigh. He should've taken a taxi. But there was no turning back as the door immediately closed after the three girls we're inside and the thing started moving again.

He glanced around to find a seat, there were still many vacant seats — far too many vacant seats that if he sat where ever he likes he sure as hell would be surrounded by the three girls, one sits beside him and the other two would sit on the opposite side of the aisle or behind them. He didn't want to be trapped in a group of giggling girls for fifteen whole minutes during the short trip.

So he chose to sit beside an obviously napping guy wearing white earphones. On the other side of the aisle were an old couple. The perfect spot. He grinned again at the girls as they walked past him and the look on their faces were priceless.

The guy beside him has his head leaning on the window. He was wearing a white button down shirt, one button undone, denim jeans and rubber shoes. He glanced again briefly and realized that the earphones weren't playing any music. It's either he's listening to music on very low volume or he put earphones on just so people would avoid talking to him.

He thinks it's the latter.

He must have been 'glancing' too long and the guy probably felt it as he turned at him and raised a brow.

"Can I help you?"

"No, sorry." He smiled sheepishly.

The guy nods a little then turned to the window again and closed his eyes. But he kept staring. Or 'glancing'as he would call it.

Aside from being with women, he also had history with guys too. Especially cute ones. But he only flirted with them. Just a couple of shots at the bar here and there. Pecks on the cheeks or make out sessions in a cubicle. He never dared to take one home. Much less bed one.

Scared probably isn't the right word to describe why he couldn't do it with them, he thinks about it too, but he let himself believe that maybe he just couldn't find the right one.
