Megan's P.O.V——————
I sighed shakily as I fixed my hair, I grabbed my outfit and put it on. It was a hoodie that read 'bro' with ripped blue jeans. I put on my shoes and looked around making sure I hadn't forgotten anything. I grabbed my bag and raced out the door before my mom could see or say anything to me, I raced up to the bus stop. I set down my bag and pulled out my head phones putting them on as I let myself fall into my own thoughts.
As I stand there the bus stops in front of me, I gulped and stepped on the bus and said my normal "hey bill" to my bus driver like normal. I started to walk down the Aisle falling off, I felt like everyone was staring at me. I knew they weren't but....it felt like it, I sat down in the very back and rested my head on the seat in front of me.
'What if she thinks I'm copying her?' I thought thinking about my friend Liz or well....Logan was was trans and turned to a boy. My biggest fear of losing my best friend. I let out a shaky breathe and closed my eyes until I felt the bus jolt to the stop.
I sat up and stood up as everyone loaded off the bus, I sighed and rolled my eyes seeing everyone push and run trying to get off first. I got off and the bitter cold wind smacked me in the face making me shiver but I held the shiver grinding my teeth.
Elizabeth's P.O.V——————
I waited for Megan smiling, she told me she was going trans. Ahhhh I couldn't wait, I was smiling waiting for her to walk in but then...Amy walked up to me. She was ex and she was a total bitch.
"Hey....." she started making me cross my arms "what do you want Amy?" I asked, she had tried to talk me into dating her again but our relationship was very unhealthy. I told her to leave me alone and she walked away leaving me with a scowl. I looked over and saw Megan peeking out and saw my scowl.
She quickly ducked away, I panicked knowing she probably thought the scowl was for her. I started to walk, then speed walk then spirt and started to run. I dashed out of there and looked around to see Megan pacing back and forth mumbling to myself.
I sighed and walked over to her coming up behind her, I placed a hand on her- well HIS shoulder. He jumped and turned around grabbing my wrist a,omg me wince. Once she(he?) noticed it was me they(Yeah they) let go of my wrist "so-sorry!" Megan said making me chuckle "it's fine" I smiled before saying.
"You look amazing!" I cheered making them blush and chuckle "thanks Liz- Logan" they corrected themselves. "When were alone, you can call me Lizzy" I smiled making her nod and hug me. "Come on let's go back to our friends" I said as they pulled away and nodded. I turned and started to walk as Megan followed.
I jumped a bit but smiled as Megan connected our hands as we walked.
